Thanks for that. I'm glad I got to read his piece without having to give him any hits. Now, it's time to start hammering him on Twitter until he blocks me.

Just ask him where his article was a month ago on Florida State and Matthew Thomas.

Someone did. He ignored that Tweet.

EDIT...didn't read far enough down on his timeline.
@GreggDoyelCBS8h
The system screwed a Notre Dame football recruit. But so did Brian Kelly. I blame him: http://cbsprt.co/10Z07Kz

@GreggDoyelCBS I completely understand the stance, but Florida State is doing the same thing to a kid and for some reason that's not as bad?

‏@GreggDoyelCBS8h
@TheRealKev it's as bad, but jimbo fisher isn't the hypocrite kelly is. fisher didn't leave a school before its bowl game, then refuse a kid

Then he had this gem:
‏@GreggDoyelCBS8h
Notre Dame fan reaction to my story: Jimbo Fisher did it too! So...you acknowledge Brian Kelly screwed the kid? http://cbsprt.co/10Z07Kz

For now he is the starter. But if Zaire or Hendrix blow him away in the fall I'm sure he will give them the nod. I fully expect to see all 3 qb's this year

Eh he said that at a luncheon. Basically saying he has an experienced qb that has stepped in in the past. Wouldn't take that as he won the job in the last two weeks, especially since players were on break until Monday.

Didn't take much. Three tweets and no response and Gregg Doyel blocked me.

What a fucking douche. LOL.

@Dkizer_14: I will not be visiting Alabama on Thursday the 13th, but will be at LSU the 14th. Also, I will be visiting Notre Dame this Sunday the 9th.

Good news for the Irish.

If Urban has any thoughts at all about offering him he better do it real soon, 'cause if he doesn't, I think he's a Domer for sure.

I would love for ND to land Kizer. Been covering him since his freshman year, so it would be awesome to see a local kid go to a school where I can actively root for them! lol

He's an IU alum who roots for ND in football...and by covering him he means as a cameraman for the local cable sports station BCSN.

Deshone is one of the best athletes I've ever seen from Toledo. Just does it all and so well, a real throwback athlete. I think he needs to improve his accuracy, and I hope Dempsey can let him throw more this year. Central is just so good all they had to do was run the ball last season and torch teams. Great leader however, covering them in the playoffs he was incredibly poised and focused on the sideline

Kizer will decide tonight with his family whether or not to commit to ND or take the scheduled visit to lsu on Friday. Wiltfong says he could be committing within the hour.
