Ah, so you're just like Lewis, then.

I see many arrests in your future, then, based on your own logic.

Seriously, would you like to make a wager?

My apologies if I bore you, but your logical incoherence amuses me, so you may just have to deal with my presence as long as you're proving yourself to be such a dunce.

How do you suppose we do that brainiac? I'm saying Killer Lewis ends up with more arrests than Lawrence Tyalor after his retirement but it will most likely take a couple years to accumulate before he does something really heinous and ends up in a State Pen. This site won't be around six months from now the way things are going.

#1. The whole "it's not going to be around" is getting lame.

#2. You know that we're both real people, right? As in, if this site goes away, we're still around. Could it be that ... and bear with me ... we could make a bet that might venture outside this site? I know it sounds like madness, but it just might work.

#3. Hell, contingent clauses to wagers aren't exactly rocket science. Not sure why it would take a "brainiac" to figure that out.

Based on a single arrest, a pleaded-down charge, and a squeaky clean record in the last 13 years, you're seriously suggesting that he'll have a bunch of arrests afterward? Excuse me, but your fanhood blindness is showing.

And since the bet might have been about arrests (if you could figure out how to gamble outside of this website):

Ray Lewis arrests = 1
Tiernan arrests = 1

Go find your thug homies and steal some shit from the liquor store, you criminal.

Nah. You'd get charged with a DUI before you made it to my house ... that, or you'd get in a wreck, as drunk drivers tend to do.

This is all assuming you'd put down the bottle long enough to find your keys.

Point of contention...he was never acquitted. He reached a plea bargain. He became a witness for the prosecution, trying to say it was his co-defendants that were the ones to commit the murder. THEY were acquitted...but probably because Lewis was the one to do the stabbing. They still haven't found the suit Lewis was wearing that night.

As a side note, the victims were from Akron.

You're right. Thank you for the correction. I'll rephrase to say he was not found guilty of murder.

I recall that the young men stabbed were from Akron. I do think that's part of why so many NEO residents wanted someone to pay, a bonus if it was a member of the team who broke the hearts of Browns fans.

Hard to be objective under those circumstances.

I see where you are coming from with that, but I think under the circumstances...it is far more likely that he is guilty rather than innocent. You don't cop a plea and point the finger at your buddies to avoid jail time if you're innocent.

Unless you think it looks bad and are afraid to go to jail.

At that point, you're trying to attribute motivation to actions, and I just don't think that's easily done in the situation.

Imagine that you were present at something like that, didn't commit the action, but saw it happen (with people who are your buddies). Do you immediately rat your buddies out and (a) potentially put friends in prison, and (b) snitch on a guy who has proven he'll stick someone with a knife?

Probably not.

However, when faced with a LOT of prison time at a young age, I'm betting you become a lot more accommodating, and at the advice of your legal counsel, opt to take a plea because it meant no jail time.

Are you telling me you wouldn't take that? I certainly would, and it DOES seem as though that is how the events transpired, if memory serves me.

I'm not saying the above happened, but I'm saying that I don't think any actions in this instance show any signs of guilt and have raised defeaters of such.

Again, wanting him to be guilty (hell, I don't particularly care for the guy's style or personality ... I find him annoying in general) doesn't mean he is guilty or should be found as such.

That thugger was guilty from jump street and "most" (those that can discern BS from Fact) USA Americans know it. Sunday Brady finally sends him back to the streets and then it will be the job of the police to keep an eye on him. He'll fk-up sooner than later and then just like another famous thugger who got off a double homocide charge, he'll finally hear the cold slamming of a cell door behind him.

You know? You KNOW? Based on? Speculation? So you don't know? You're just assuming and making a judgement. You're a bad USA American. I bet you wear Chinese-made pants.
