As I said last night, I look for Banner and Lombardi to do something stupid to prove to us how smart they are. For example, a TE at 6, or taking a 4-3 DE and trying to turn him into a 3-4 OLB. So I share the nervousness. I still think pass rush should be a priority.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1432216 wrote:I just have a bad vibe about this draft. I think it could get ugly, and it could end up biting us in the ***. I just have this feeling that Lombardi is going to prove yet again why we all despise him. Excited for Thursday and nervous at the same time...
Can you guys imagine what this draft would be like for us if Holmgren/Heckert/Shurmur were still on board?

Panic and trade up to get Milliner. Holmgren pulls rank in the 3rd and takes Zac Dysert.Mr Miyagi;1432352 wrote:Can you guys imagine what this draft would be like for us if Holmgren/Heckert/Shurmur were still on board?

Just read where one NFL GM said he thinks this will be the worst draft in the last decade.

Maybe offensively, however there is plenty of defensive talent to go around.BR1986FB;1432531 wrote:Just read where one NFL GM said he thinks this will be the worst draft in the last decade.

I think they are QQing, because there are no big time play makers at the skill positions.BR1986FB;1432564 wrote:"Talent", perhaps but no "gotta have" studs. Bunch of solid guys.

Which are generally your "impact" players. You may get a LT that you can plug in for 10 years but he's not going to make the impact that a Julio Jones, Calvin Johnson, etc makes.like_that;1432582 wrote:I think they are QQing, because there are no big time play makers at the skill positions.

Did they arrange a price of $200, and he bought a box of condoms for $4.30? If so, did he pay with a Benjamin?

Are these just my thoughts or has the organization gone beyond full retard since Haslam took over? First the hiring of Banner & Lombardi, then Haslam's issues, now Groves solicits a hooker? It was bad before but it just seems like an almost bigger clusterf#ck.

They might be onto something. Apparently criminal clusterfuck records = success. Ray Lewis murdered somebody and he has 2 SBs, rapistberger raped a few bitches and he has 2 SBs, the Bengals have had a track record of criminal activities and they have made the playoffs 3 of 4 years.BR1986FB;1432724 wrote:Are these just my thoughts or has the organization gone beyond full retard since Haslam took over? Scout inc has a 7 mock draft, and it just makes me sick. They have the Browns taking Eifert at 6, Landry jones in the 3rd, and to cap it off they draft a kicker in the 7th. FUCK THAT.

Scouts Inc is run and owned by BSPN. Not surprised.like_that;1432795 wrote:Scout inc has a 7 mock draft, and it just makes me sick. They have the Browns taking Eifert at 6, Landry jones in the 3rd, and to cap it off they draft a kicker in the 7th. FUCK THAT.

Lol just came on here to post about that. Probably the worst mock I've ever seen. I lol'd pretty hard at Barrett Jones falling to late in the 4th. Plus they have a few guys go undrafted who will probably go in rounds 3-5.like_that;1432795 wrote:Scout inc has a 7 mock draft, and it just makes me sick. I still think, if we take a QB in 1st 2 rounds, it'll be Manuel.

I'm on record as not being a Weeden fan, but if they take Geno at #6, I will be irate.

I don't think anything the Browns do could piss me off more than the Cavs draft last year, so that's a positive.

Yes. Least Milliner would help on the field. for the record I wouldnt be pissed about Milliner, I think he'll play and be solid. I just think its a reach and not good value. Rather get Dion Jordon or trade back. Rather have Warmack over him too as I think Warmack is a HOF type player where Milliner I doubt even makes a pro bowl. Plus I think there are 8 good starting CBs in this draft and can get a solid one in the 2nd/3rd.Sonofanump;1432952 wrote:So you are saying that you like Milliner more than G Smith?
