There is no QB in this draft even worth talking about or wasting a pick on. The Browns need to load up on the defense and Oline and worry about a QB next year.

Geno Smith will be the most overrated QB in this draft.
Just curious, what makes you think Smith is "overrated"?

And what QB would you put before him?

And if you could read I said if the organization feels that way, they shouldn't take a QB at all. I don't want them taking bray just because they wanna take a QB.

yes he said that and it brought out the lulz

The fact that he is even being considered in the top 10 is a joke. He shouldn't even been considered in the first round.

Because he isn't a first round talent. Way to many flaws in his game. Teams just over value QBs.

What flaws? His somewhat awkward delivery?

I'm not saying he's going to be great, or even good. It just seems like a lot of the negative comments are pulled from no where.

For me it is because once the weather got cold, he went downhill.

He may be the best of a terrible class

Same arm as Weeden, about half the age and twice as fast and mobile. He sucks.

You also think romo is an elite qb and deserved a huge contract. And Troy smith should be a starting qb. I think ill pass on your qb evaluations

I never said Romo was elite or not elite, nor did I state that he was worth the contract. I just posted stats to prove common misconceptions wrong. Please stop taking my comments out of context.

I also said I would take Wilson last year. Many on this board said he would never start a game. I also said Weeden would suck balls.

I hope we trade down. If the Chargers (#11) were to trade for the 6th pick to get a LT what do you think the browns could get in return? Im thinking it could be a first round pick for a franchise LT.

Would LOVE to get a 1st round pick to trade down...but I just don't see it. Especially not at 11. I think we could probably get a 2nd rounder next year though.

Fuck that, if there are numerous teams looking for a franchise LT they can get more than just a 2nd. In terms of franchise positions, I would go QB #1, and LT #2.

I mean maybe 2nd and a mid-late round pick?

Just can't see anyone giving up much more than that

No doubt in my mind the starting price will be a 2nd rounder.

Depends on how many teams are interested in our pick. If there's just one team, probably just a 2nd. Couple teams, a little more. If Arizona, San Diego, and a couple other teams are after one of the 'Franchise LT', there may be more.

He has the same issues that everyone knocks Weeden for. He's a younger version of Weeden with mobility.

Honest question--what are those issues?

Same "hurried in the pocket" comments you made about Weeden. Has had knocks on his poise/pocket presence, not extemely accurate, etc. If RGIII or Luck is sitting at our pick, I pull the trigger or even trade up...but for a mediocre QB who should be taken in the late 1st? Nah...I'd take him if he fell to the 2nd but we don't have that pick.

He's a monumental reach...and before you say "just like Weeden?" The only reason YOU were projecting Weeden as a later round QB was his age. The talent was there. Had he come out this year he'd be the best QB in this draft.

That's both wrong and stupid. The age was just a cherry on top. Go back and re-read the Browns off-season thread from last year; we continuously brought up his pocket awareness, lack of accuracy in the pocket, lack of mobility, big 12 QB fallacies, etc. Then at teh very end we'd say "oh and he'll be 30 soon"

He wouldn't be the best QB in this year's draft..don't believe that at all.

"We" meaning a bunch of internet "armchair GM's?" I didn't see as many knocks on him, by scouts/professionals, as were mentioned on here.

And as far as the best QB, I'd tend to agree with what the professionals, who actually analyze this stuff, think.
