I could see him getting 1-2 for conduct not representative of the football team or university as Urban is trying to crack down on people putting themselves in bad situations it seems.

1-2 sounds right but would not be surprised to see him not get anything.

Also Cal has named a true freshman their starting QB.

COLUMBUS — The misdemeanor charge against Ohio State star cornerback Bradley Roby was reduced today from battery to disorderly conduct, according to Indiana court records.
Roby was initially charged last month with a Class A misdemeanor after allegedly striking a security guard in the chest outside a bar in Bloomington, Ind. He now faces a Class B charge.
Ohio State coach Urban Meyer has said he plans to let the case unfold before issuing his punishment, though he said a suspension was likely. Roby, a junior All-American, has been practicing with the Buckeyes' second team during the first two weeks of preseason camp.
Roby is scheduled for a pre-trial conference Aug. 26 at Monroe County Court.

Well all charges might be dropped all together. I chance my original pick and say he will not be suspended at all.

video could be "instrumental" in the Monroe County prosecutor offering a diversion program, which could lead to charges being dropped and the case dismissed.

writing that Roby was carried out of the bar being wrapped by people around the shoulders and lower legs. Roby was then pushed three times by the bar's security officer. On the third push, Roby was "driven back 2 to 3 feet." He then lunged at the security officer and was subsequently handcuffed.

Roby looked "roughed up" when he returned to Columbus

prosecutor's office didn't receive video of the incident until this week, but officers were told video did not exist the night of the arrest.

Sounds like the bar's security was instigating and more than just simply removing but roughing him up (typical of bar security) and after being shoved 3 times Roby shoved back. And the fact that the bar was telling police no video existed until recently indicates that the bar knew that the tape didn't portray their employees in a good light.

Perhaps the shadiness of the club owner is why IU players were told to stay away from the place.

The two polls (Coaches and AP) are virtually the same, only "big" difference is the AP thinks slightly higher of ND than the coaches do.

Actually, the coaches think slightly higher of Notre Dame than the AP as ND is 11th in the coaches poll and 14th in the AP.

Pre-Season polls = Taking the top 5 teams, throwing them in a hat, then peeing in that hat.....then forcing someone to pull them out with their mouth, and saying who is where.... AKA absolutely worthless and no one wants to see them.
