IMO they should be ranked no higher than 6. However, due to the SEC hard-on the pollsters have, I see them dropping to 4.

I think they will stay at number 1 and LSU jumps to #2. That would keep us in line to see another amazing bcs championship.

They'll be the highest ranked 1 loss team. Like they should be. 4th is right. Who do you have higher than them?

You cant tell me last weeks game wasnt entertaining. Last year, no.

Bama will be the top one loss team, behind KSU, ORE, and ND. Theres no way UGA, or UF jump them.

They'll drop to 4 assuming no other upsets tonight. Maybe 5 in whatever poll OSU is eligible for. Top ranked 1-loss team.

In which OSU is not even worthy of a top 15 ranking. They arent that good. Had the easiest schedule possible in which they've struggled.

They should be be 7th at best.

Their schedule so far hasn't been that great. Their best wins are over Mississippi State (who has yet to get a win over a ranked opponent) and @ LSU. The LSU win is a quality win.

But they just lost at home to a 2 loss team.

I know they will probably stay within the top 5, but they shouldn't.

Florida lost to a 1 loss team, Bama lost to a 2 loss team, at home. Florida should be ahead. I think 5 is were they should be after I remembered OSU isnt ranked in BCS

Doesn't really matter because don't they still have to play Georgia and the SEC Championship game? If they win that they'll be the top 1 loss by a ton.

Not top 15 is a little extreme. Not sure I'd put the Oregon State/Stanford/Clemson/LOLouisville's ahead of them, but I agree on paper they aren't close to a top 5 team. They would be the bottom ranked 0-loss team.

Georgia in the title game, not Georgia and the title game. Not sure if that's what you meant or not. They play Western Carolina and Auburn to close the regular season.

If that's the case they would be 7th no way does Florida jump Georgia

good point. The SEC is overrated. The "best team in the country" just lost to a team that went 6-6 in the big 12 last year minus a first round qb and top wr.

I still think Bama is the best team in college football....but there are no great teams apparently. I am hoping for a KState/Oregon shootout now. I would actually watch that instead of that BCS championship abortion from last year.

I don't think the SEC is quite as good this year as previous years. As far as I can tell they didn't play much of an OOC schedule to help gauge how they are compared to other BCS conferences. I guess we'll have to wait till bowl season to tell.

But when schools like Towson, University of Louisiana Monroe and University of Louisiana Lafayete are making waves against SEC schools, that doesn't bode well.

Possibly 5 teams in the top 10 if LSU wins and A&M moves up, and the SEC is overrated?

Ya, they aren't punished nearly as much as other teams for losing... One of those top 10 teams your boasting about just barely squeezed by the powerhouse ULL.

And other top 10 teams havent had close calls? ND has had nail biters, OSU has had alot of nailbiters, FSU lost to an unranked team and almost lost to VT. Happens to almost everyone. (and yes, I know, 2 of them havent lost yet).
And when the SEC teams have lost, it has been to other ranked SEC teams. Not other conferences or unranked opponents.

Yeah....I just misremembered. Lol

Georgia beat Flordia....Bama beat LSU

The SEC Championship winner is easily the top 1 loss team....for BCS purposes.
