Let me explain it simply: When you're young and you are conservative, you have no heart. When you're old and you are liberal, you have no brain.

It's no wonder BHO wants people to vote early....before they change their mind.

40% of 2012 votes will be cast early.

Ohio and Iowa voting at bigger rate than '08

Obama up 54-39 among early voters
You really are a schill. Early voting means nothing. The only interesting comparison is % vs. 2008, where Obama has slipped. But Obama, either candidate, getting more of their people to vote early really doesn't move the needle. It's a very marginal impact in terms of getting a wishy-washy voter to pull the lever that might otherwise stay home.

Obama's people are rounding up their base and shuttling them to the polls, but I don't think he has enough of a base to win the election. Whether a person votes on Nov. 6 or votes early is actually pretty meaningless.

This is ACORN and this is giving bums $5 to vote, but it's not moving the needle significanly. I mean, you don't honestly believe that 54-39 is remotely indicative of what Obama will get? They are REAAAALLLLYYYY reaching to keep you guys motivated and enthusiastic.

If early voting doesn't matter...why did it WIN North carolina for President Obama in 2008??

If early voting doesn't matter...why are BOTH campaigns pushing it so hard in 2012??

Early voting does matter....it's been proven

You are still on Acorn?? They were abolished in 2009.

Have I ever said I think President Obama will win the popular vote 54-39? No...actually I think Romney will win the popular vote buy about .5%. What I have said and will continue to say Romney will have to win election day voting by a pretty decent margin in certain swing states that it will be hard for him to get an electoral college win

GAWD you're dense. Early voting didn't win Obama NC in 2008, votes did.

Really?

He won NC early voting by 330,000 votes in '08
McCain won election day voting by 315,000

Tell me again how EV didn't win NC for Obama in 2008

So those 330,000 wouldn't have voted on election day if they had to wait?

I think they did vote on election day ... again. And that's the only way obama can win in '12: double voting, dead people voting and illegals voting >>> keep those SEIU buses rolling.

Now Ty is latching onto early voting (eventhough it's this way every year) to convince himself Obama will win because the polls don't do it anymore. He's actually trying to sell that election day somehow doesn't matter that the race is decided in early voting. "Heyyyy, Obama won early voting election over!!!"

Do you guys realize if Obama wins OH, and wins the election as a result, that effectively Obama will have bought this election back in 2009 with some $50B of taxpayer money to pay-off the union?

Really think about that. One of the first things he did was steal $50B from us, ensuring he would continue to fuck us for the next 8 years.

Perhaps not. I don't see the problem conservatives have with early voting outside of it tends to not favor them.

I don't have any issue with early voting at all. Just an issue with Ty claiming its over because of early voting

I know you didn't invent that line of thinking so I'm not attacking you here but...that's such a dumb fucking way to go view things.

My conservative friends (I'm young so are they) are not heartless despite our disagreements, just as older liberals aren't stupid simply because they have different ideas and opinions than you.

What is the problem with early voting? How does it harm the electorate?
