What sites do you guys use to DL music? If it's not cool to posts the sites please PM me, i lost all my music and the sites i used were seized by uncle sam.

Torrents sometimes, but nowadays I find myself buying more and more. Blogs used to be my "go tos" but all the good ones are now gone.

I have a few hundred CDs but I stopped buying the last few years, downloaded so much through megaupload. My hard drive crashed and i haven't been able to find someone who can restore a mac hard hard drive. Basically wanted to save myself the time of putting the cd into the computer and waiting for it to copy.

piratebay, but I just found a site that was handy....it is like skullmp3 or something like that. google it.

I don't know if this is still the case, but the file format that you buy off of itunes wouldn't work in my editing software. I used to be heavy into video editing and trying to add an itunes files into Adobe or other editing software was impossible. Not sure if they made a patch for this or not, but that was my biggest issue with DLing through itunes.

I believe they are DRM free now. I have only bought one album on itunes in the last few years, and it was actually just a few weeks ago.

Screw buying music from iTunes. That DRM BS put me off to them a while ago. You can't use any of their files on any DJ related software.

For that stuff I use Beatport and Juno Download, all others...Google Play.

If you read anymore of the thread you would have realized he said his hard drive crashed and he hasn't been able to find anyone who can restore a mac hard drive.

I thought mac's never had problems and just worked tho?

Simply find the song on Youtube copy and paste the link then it converts into an mp3 and download.
Some links are blocked but there are usually so many videos for each song you can find a working one easily.
