Boy, what a cluster this has become. This is what happens when the playoff pairings are determined by attorneys and not the results on the field.

Well yeah, but ifthey don't play ineligible players, it never goes to court. You can't exactly fault them for suing.

According to the rules; they do not rerun the points in other regions.

"Note:The computer rankings will not be rerun in any other region."

"7.3 If there is a forfeiture of one or more regular season games after the qualifying teams have been announced and the team announcing the forfeiture is a qualifier and would not qualify for the tournament when the forfeiture(s) is counted, only the qualifying team that forfeits will be removed from the tournament. Their line on the tournament bracket may be taken by the highest ranked non-qualifying team when the qualifying teams were first announced or the last team defeated provided the ineligibility is determined on or before 12:00 P.M. (noon) Tuesday of the week the game is scheduled to be played. The line on the bracket will remain vacant (a bye) if the ineligibility is determined after 12:00 P.M. (noon) on Tuesday of the
week of the game is scheduled or if the new eligible team chooses not to participate. Note:The computer rankings will not be rerun in any other region." THIS SAYS IT ALL! It should be Brookfield vs Edgewood. The Cleveland judge didn't have the right to put Beachwood in according to OHSAA rules

If Brookfield plays Tuesday or Monday, they'll still have to play Friday or Saturday with a win.
That's awful.

Dodged a bullet? Brookfield would of handled them too. How bout we all pull together for the teams in the valley. If it was struthers or Campbell I'd be rooting for them.

wow i feel so bad for brookfield. This i hope don't affect there chances for state. I liked Brookfields chances. If they got to play say Monday or say Tuesday there is no way they can manage two games in less then 3 or 4 days. If they play that late the state should at least set the next game for Saturday. I just don't like how this is playing out. there should be a back up plan for this situation.. But there really is nothing the state can do without affecting other games.

Ohio does root for Brookfield. I believe he was simply saying Beachwood is a much better team than Edgewood.

Just meant that Beachwood would have made it a better game, and the game i watcxhed them play tonight was the most mistakes ive seen them make in 2 years, hopefully they got it out of the way and play with more fire next week, prolly played down because they already rolled edgewood once. I do root for the warriors, ever come to think that maybe a test early on in the playoffs could help them since they werent tested much all season? With that being said lets see if they can get to 12-0

I said that Beachwood would have given them a game, and anone with any type of knowledge would agree with that, they lost to KIRTLAND by 2 points in week 9 a team Brookfield would not beat as much as i hate to say it.

I do root for Brookfield, I just don't have a bias opinion, if I think a team is better then that's my opinion, I didn't say they would beat them I said it would be a better game. Learn how to read
