Oh lets make a new account and put it from niles ohio, look at my old posts and you will see there are more correct then incorrect. If you seriously think Brookfield can beat the likes of Harding Mooney Ursuline and Fitch you are out of your mind and you really need to get out more and watch some football. Sure you can trounce on JFK and YCS and think you are all mighty, i would love to see brookfield go far in the playoffs and in D4 they can but when you make statements that they are the best no matter what division theres not much more i can say about that.

Not sure but they won.
Streetsboro lost tonight to Crestwood. They are still in line to host first road game.

It looks like Brookfield might reclaim the #1 spot today. Currently, joeeitel.com has them listed at #2 in D4,R13 but they have three teams on their schedule who play today (Warren JFK, Western Reserve Academy, and Youngstown Christian). I suspect two of the three (JFK & YCS) will win, which should give enough second-level points to surpass Norwayne. Brookfield will probably finish with about 23.3 points.

Norwayne beat the #12 (AP) team in the state last night 64 - 0. They were up 55- 0 at the half. Who has been Brookfields best competion? I know it's a little premature but it looks like Norwayne and Brookfield are the premier teams in this region. I'm not a Norwayne guy but have attended the last couple games. They have destroyed 2 very good, playoff teams the last 2 weeks. I'm just curious what Brookfeild is all about. I know Norwayne crushed them last year

Northwestern's 7 first-half turnovers didn't help their cause. But Norwayne was the better team, for sure.

Brookfield hasn't played anybody near the caliber of Norwayne. The best teams they faced are Struthers, Campbell, JFK, Youngstown Christian, and Edgewood. They beat Struthers 26-13, and the rest were blowouts. Struthers just missed the D3 playoffs, finishing number 9 in the region, .06 behind behind Poland. Campbell has a good shot at squeaking into the D5,R17 playoffs, as does Edgewood in D4,R13. JFK & YCS both have clinched spots in D6,R21.WCALfootballfan;1305297 wrote:Norwayne beat the #12 (AP) team in the state last night 64 - 0. They were up 55- 0 at the half. Ironically, if Brookfield moves to #1 in the region following JFK & YCS wins today, they would likely face #8 Edgewood. A team they beat 49-13 a few weeks ago. Norwayne would have a rematch with Northwestern, one week following a 64-0 blowout.

Looks like Edgewood it will be. Brookfield ought to be at least five TD favorites in this one.

I don't see any brackets. But I think as the #1 seed, they play #8 Edgewood at home in the first week. In week 2, they would play the winner of #4 Manchester and #5 Hawken School. In the regional final, if they advanced that far, they'd face either the #2, #3, #6, or #7 seed, whoever survived... probably #2 Norwayne in this region. I'm not sure what region champion they would face in the state semi-finals, I think OHSAA determines it based on geography, so the Region 13 winner would probably face the Region 15 winner. The state final would then be against the Region 14 or 16 champ.

1. Norwayne - 10-0, 24.3010
2. Brookfield - 10-0, 23.4167
3. Manchester - 8-2, 21.1500
4. Lakeview - 8-2, 20.3000
5. Hawken - 9-1, 16.5071
6. Triway - 8-2, 15.8000
7. Streetsboro - 7-3, 15.7500
8. Liberty - 8-2, 13.9000
So therefore if Brookfield and Norwayne both go 10-0 this is what happens. Norwayne just plays a better schedule thats all deal with it.
we are dealing with it but it is difficult

I think Norwayne finished 3rd in the region last year. !st, 2nd, 3rd....it makes no difference.
