Brookfield's schedule could hurt them going into the playoffs, playing struthers being the only good team.

Do you think YCS is a test for them or are they all hype? I watched them play matthews and they almost put up 100 but people from matthews were saying that matthews is pretty much a freshman team this year. I seen they got destroyed by garaway, is garaway a good squad?

They arn't terrible, they have some speed but not as much speed as Campbell or Struthers. If the Warriors play like they have all year they win by as much as they want but anything can happen on any given night.

brookfield is a very talented team ! But I also think this Norwayne team is almost as good as last years team, just a different style of play.
I don't think Brookfield's schedule will hurt them. Besides Norwayne and maybe Northwestern, there are no other really good teams in the mix in that region. Even Streetsboro got ripped 28-0 to a 3-5 Field team that Struthers beat 28-14.

Of course, Northwestern seems pretty good and if Norwayne beats them in week 10, that could drop them to #8 and set up a matchup with Brookfield in the first round. Otherwise, I don't see them losing at least until the regional final.
Northwestern is a dangerous team. While they most likely will not beat Norwayne, they have tons of athletes, an undersized but dominant line, and are very explosive on offense and defense. I'm guessing outside of Norwayne (and maybe ahead, I dunno), Northwestern has the most TD over 40 yards this year in our area.

I agree with you. Northwestern has a pretty impressive season so far with the only loss being a 6-point affair to Mogadore, who is #1 in the AP Div. VI poll. So they could pull the upset on Norwayne. It would be interesting to see them meet in consecutive weeks if they finish 1/8 or 2/7, or if Northwestern wins and moves to 4 or 5, and Norwayne drops to 5 or 4.

Liberty is the only other team in that region I see as a legitimate threat, but they really haven't played too many quality opponents. I wouldn't be surprised to see Lakeview come away with the win this week, and knock them out of playoff contention.

Norwayne should finish above Brookfield if they win out. never know what will happen.

Possibly, but I think Brookfield finishes #1 if it wins out. Even though YCS is kind of mediocre, Brookfield will receive a bunch of second-level points if it wins.

Hey Brookfield fans...

I saw the Warriors vs Norwayne in the 1st round playoff game....One thing I couldn't help but notice was Brookfield had one kid that was "friggin' huge"....a helmet above everybody else. I think he was a T/DT.

Is he back?...what's the story on that giant?....or is there no story?

Yes, Brookfield would pummel Fitch, Warren Harding, etc. with ease.

They wouldn't? Same goes with mooney and Ursuline. This is the same team that got beat by 30 to norwayne last season. I hate when parents get on here and try to talk sports, yes you mrs hiner

If you can stay in the game with Fitch Harding Ursuline and mooney mark it down Brookfield state champs, realistically none of those is going to happen sorry to break your hearts.
