Elliot,

So are you saying that you love this bill simply because it's pushed by democrats?

Those are provisions that were in the jumble of 2,000 plus pages that was being looked at by the Senate.

Do I know for certain?

No.

Which is a problem in itself.

We have the Senate putting together a 2,000 plus page bill and promising to vote on it Christmas Eve. That gives the American people about 3 days (if we're lucky) to read and evaluate what's actually going to end up in it.

You don't see something wrong with that?

I sure as hell do.

The transparency Obama promised once again gets trashed. Just another LIE he told during the campaign that goes by the wayside because it's political expedient.

Well..everyone else is stating there opinions..and you keep wanting them to show PROOF and show FACTS..where's your PROOF? I guess you better not give an opinion if you can't provide BONAFIDE ACTUAL PROOF.

Do you have a crystal ball in your house? The idea that you have any idea what is going to happen is laughable. I found another person to add to my ignore list.

Where does it say he will increase taxes on people below $200,000 other than the quote from McConnell??

In that case...I hope there is coverage for abortion then

From writer buckeye:
One: it's going to rob from Medicare so it looks like the bill isn't adding to the deficit. This is going to result in less care for seniors and worse care for seniors.

That's a fact.

Where's his proof on that??

I have never stated that my opinions are fact....unlike your friend writer

Elliot, so in case I missed it, would you please answer my question again? It was something like "are you for this bill simply because the democrats are the ones pushing it?" (or somewhere thereabouts :) )
..............................

Personally, I hold both democrats AND republicans responsible for the mess our government and country is in. Out of the house and senate, there's probably only about 7 people worth their salt. We the people are complicit in this problem, because we keep "hiring" these guttersnipes. Well, it really is time for some sort of political revolution to happen. I know I've made phone calls to the people who represent my portion of Ohio. I've also written letters/emails, to which the typical response I have posted on another thread, somewhere. In reality, 2 out of the 3 politicians that I've contacted are FOR this bill.
So, that tells me that I need to vote different next year. And, I most certainly will!

I was sent this video a couple of days ago, and I really can appreciate it. This man seems to have the fire in him that you just don't see in your average-everyday politician. I also like what he ISN'T saying - a whole bunch of fluff and promises. He's actually galvanizing people to vote for their country and not a politician. He's rallying them to take back what is rightfully theirs, and not the governments.

To put it simply, he nails it. Because folks, if you don't realize that our government has slowly but surely been metamorphing into a tyrannical government, then it's because you've been nudged to the point where you have found a comfort zone.

The health insurance bill that the government is tamping down our throat is a HUGE step in the process of governmental tyranny.

First off..no clue who writer is. ;) Secondly..notice I said SOME people..not EVERYONE. Big difference. Had I said EVERYONE is just stating their opinions..then you'd have an argument. But when you want everyone that disagrees with you to provide FACTS on an OPINION based internet message board when they are just doing the same as you..well..it just kind of makes you come off as a hypocrite.

Ok then..so..as an example..I ask you..present us with the FACTS. Because that's clearly how you present your 'opinions' in the following statements.

If you don't say that claims something as a fact then you are a bigger idiot than most people say. Not gonna argue with you about it..b/c you clearly don't have the PROOF. ;) Keep on trying to back pedal out of it though. Hypocrite. :D
