We'll see. A helluva lot more people were impressed by Alabama. This is not 2010 Michigan defense. Won't even be close. It won't be as good as last year, but give Alabama some credit.

And I disagree about OSU being better than UM. Let's play a few games and evaluate.

UM played defending champs Alabama. OSU played Miami of Ohio. No way to gauge which team is better based on that.

I would say this Alabama team is better than last years team. No way Ohio st or 95% of the nation hangs with bama that night. Robinson couldn't run on bamas d and there's no way miller would have been able to. If miamis receivers could have caught the ball that Ohio st Miami game is a hell of a lot closer than the 56-10 game. But that's why there a Mac team and bama is well bama

Ehh I'm just saying how much better this OSU offense looks. Game 1 vs Akron they looked awful, this year they actually have some explosiveness. Toussaint will help but I'm not buying into this Michigan team. I think Bama could very well lose to Arkansas in a few weeks

No way this Bama team beats last years team. The difference in the two teams is, Michigan graduates a good player and replaces him with a 3*. Bama graduates a player and replaces him with a 5* that they let a 4* go for in over signing.

Agree. I talked about that with another fan before the game. He was going on about Alabama having to replace so many players and that people were overlooking that. My point to him is the Alabama's replacements were better than our starters.

it tends to run in cycles. Right now Bama is the elite program in the country (kinda like Kentucky in basketball). The cream of the crop recruits across the country can first decide if they want to go to Bama before opting for another high level program. Over the past decades that top school was maybe USC, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, etc. By grabbing the most 5* players, they remain elite every year.other schools to make inroads (e.g. Mich, ND, etc) and it shows up on the field. Hopefully within a couple years tOSU will be prying a few of those 5* guys away, but bama is going to be the preseason favorite every year for a few years. Success breeds success.
