The two best PGs of all time (though Magic was at the end...kinda like Kobe...). The best player of all time (LeBron is gonna end up close). But this team looked to the bigs. Just look at the scoring averages. Chuck was DOMINANT in 1992. Ewing, and Malone were at the top of their game as well.
The DT had a bench that would ROLL this teams bench.
Literally, the only thing close imo, would be the top. LeBron, Durant and Kobe. Thats close to Jordan, Barkley and I guess Magic would be 3rd. But they had so many guys close to #3, and thats the difference. Malone, Ewing, Mullens was in the prime of his great career.
Barkley and Malone weren't even low post players, Barkley played predominantly facing the basket and Karl Malone was a face up pick and pop/roll 4. Again, who could Magic guard? Deron Williams and Chris Paul would give him or Stockton fits, and don't even get me started on Russell Westbrook, he would be in the lane all day on those guys. Jordan wouldn't even allow Robinson or Ewing to get that many touches, he would make this game personal and put up 30 shots. The benches are absolutely comparable. 12 is bringing Deron Williams, Westbrook, Durant, Iggy and Love off the bench(Blake Griffin if he were healthy). How does that not stack up with Stockton, Mullens, Drexler, Malone and Ewing? 12 would have the advantage at the 1 through 3. Magic and Bird were done at this point in their career, can you imagine Bird trying to guard Melo or Lebron, good luck with that.
