And if lebron tried guarding Barkley in the post he would get eaten alive. Lebron isn't a great post defender. I really can't believe you think chandler could keep dr in check lmao

Also, what I'm saying is Robinson actually has post moves. He has an offensive game. Chandler wouldn't be able to stop him. It's hilarious you think this though.
I never said stop him, I said contain him, which is all he would have to do. Nice reading comprehension though.

The two best PGs of all time (though Magic was at the end...kinda like Kobe...). The best player of all time (LeBron is gonna end up close). But this team looked to the bigs. Just look at the scoring averages. Chuck was DOMINANT in 1992. Ewing, and Malone were at the top of their game as well.

The DT had a bench that would ROLL this teams bench.

Literally, the only thing close imo, would be the top. LeBron, Durant and Kobe. Thats close to Jordan, Barkley and I guess Magic would be 3rd. But they had so many guys close to #3, and thats the difference. Malone, Ewing, Mullens was in the prime of his great career.
Barkley and Malone weren't even low post players, Barkley played predominantly facing the basket and Karl Malone was a face up pick and pop/roll 4. Again, who could Magic guard? Deron Williams and Chris Paul would give him or Stockton fits, and don't even get me started on Russell Westbrook, he would be in the lane all day on those guys. Jordan wouldn't even allow Robinson or Ewing to get that many touches, he would make this game personal and put up 30 shots. The benches are absolutely comparable. 12 is bringing Deron Williams, Westbrook, Durant, Iggy and Love off the bench(Blake Griffin if he were healthy). How does that not stack up with Stockton, Mullens, Drexler, Malone and Ewing? 12 would have the advantage at the 1 through 3. Magic and Bird were done at this point in their career, can you imagine Bird trying to guard Melo or Lebron, good luck with that.

If that's the case then Kobe would take it personal and jack up 40 shots and then blame his teammates

People need to stop living in the past, the game has evolved and the athletes have evolved. The original dream team was incredible and stacked, but to say this team couldn't compete and keep the game close is insane. I hear everyone's arguments and that's all we can do, argue. No one will ever know how it would go down, only speculation.

Also stockton would have no problem staying with cp3 and Williams. Stockton despite being white was one of the quickest pg to ever play

Imagine Bird guarding Melo? Lol...Imagine Melo guarding Bird. Thats an even BIGGER mismatch. Hell, even today Bird would drop 20+ on Melo :D

And for the record, Bird hardly played.

I actually disagree. Bird was so hobbled on that team, he moved really poorly. He really only took shot off the drive and dish from someone else. While I agree that melo is embarrassing as a defender. Bird wouldn't have tried to go by him. And thus I think melo would have his was offensively against bird. IM ONLY talking about when the dream team was playing. NOT bird in his prime. That wouldn't even be worry arguing.

You're a fool if you think the DT would beat this team by 10+. I think the DT wins because of MJ but it would be a great ass game.

I completely agree. I was just poking fun at Rob. As if Bird guarding someone was the end all be all of the match-up. Guy didnt play much, and in this game wouldnt play much at all. He was more a figurehead. But Melo guarding anyone on that team wouldve been a joke.

People seem to be forgetting how good Mullens and Clyde the Glide were in 1992. Better than anyone (save Durant who doesnt start) this team has coming off the bench imo.

I watched the prime of all their careers.

Don't know how it would go....athleticism to the new guys, but basketball IQ was off the chart and competitiveness to the old guys.

Would watch.
