Becuase when all of the Indians fans need to go back and ponder the series, they can just go through what? 75 posts? On a Reds thread, you'd have to go back through 20'ish pages and 500 posts. So break them down to 3 game threads.

White Sox in 1st place.....Dunn plays every day and bats 3rd every day regardless of matchup. His strikeout numbers are ridiculous but his OB% has been around .375 and his OPS has mostly been over .920 this year. To me it's amazing a guy hitting .226 is leading the league in walks.

I liked how we did it before. Indians and reds have their own threads. Makes for more actual game talk instead of just bitching at each other.

Im not suggesting the Reds fan create a series thread. IN fact, you probably shouldn't if you don't like it. I can see Indians' series threads continuing to be created, however.

After looking through, it seems Indians games garner more discussion than Reds threads. The game last night for the Reds was an anomaly and generated a lot of discussion because they blew the game.

Even with that OBP strikes outs are brutal to a team. They don't move runners and they don't drive in runs.

Couple that with a guy who when he does get on base isn't exactly speedy.

Each reds game usually goes 3 pages or so. Depends how many guys actually go to the game. Less talk when Justin and Tate go to the games plus others. But usually it's good talk mixed in with mphs or whatever over anylyzing the crap out of each play. Oh and don't you ever criticize a player in this series until you've checked the rule book for criticizing players. Or else mooney will "call you out". He's a boss!

Indians fans should read this before this series.

Because of mhs...aka the GOAT poster. Don't ever...eeeeeeveeeerrrrrr disagree with mhs. He is a God amongst men.

And always disagree w/ Mooney, because then you'll be right.

Let's be honest here. Ironman raised that average by 40 posts himself.

I like the series thread, easier to follow the whole series and for me, easier to talk about the stuff after the game/before the new one when its a series thread.

We dont really do much of a PxP posting, like some Reds threads Ive noticed. Just more general discussion on the games.

This is what I was thinking, no way Tribe threads get more action than Reds threads. This thread will likely end up a mess.

As I just said. Reds threads seem to be more PxP than the Indians. Obviously will have more posts. Im not gonna sit there and break down an inning with 15 posts. But I will break down an inning when its over in a single post. Usually with, "Well that was fucked. Gonna need the bats." Or, "Big time pitching from the pen to preserve the lead. Insurance runs would be huge here". Then be done till the game is over and post again when its a final.

Ironman posts 50 times in each thread.

Tribe fans usually post great summarizations and bitch at each other. It's fun.

Each new Reds thread will start with the lineup, then people criticizing the lineup, then talking about how Votto is the GOAT, then talk about how Dusty is an idiot. It's just a pattern that we've gotten used to and love. The series threads are fine, but it's easier to have game threads to just talk about the game whether than seeing where the talk about the current game starts. I'd get used to either way, but I like how the Reds threads are obviously.

With that being said, the Reds will now dominate this series since this thread was started by an Indians fan.

Why? Its going swimmingly so far! The REAL way to tell is to see how many individual posters check into each thread. Because we dont have a MHS or I92 lol.

Go back to last season and the first half of this season. Tribe threads had WAY more action. I remember making a post last year asking why you guys did single game threads when you weren't getting many posts... It came right before our first series.
