Sigh...

I figured with these pitching match ups in that park the Tribe would be lucky to get 1 game

That does sound fun. I'm actually going tomorrow night. Reds are on a 3 game losing streak when I go. They must win tomorrow.

Well Leake will either be stellar or terrible. Not much in between with him. It surely could be an 8 HR night in GABP.

Yeah, no doubt. Our pitching staff is not good at all....a bunch of middle of the pack guys. At least Masterson's wife sells awesome cookies out of her house.

Thanks Manny for putting in Tony Sipp when the score is 2 to 1. Did Haggedone do something to your wife? 2-1..Manny's idea of a blowout.

Me...and his ERA is better than your boy's....by quite a bit.

The only thing bigger than Lonnie's hole in his swing is the hole in his glove.

Pretty much. How much did we give up for Jeanmar, I forget.

Actually, I have no idea. I can't keep track of all the terrible moves this organization has made.

All I know is, Jeanmar is going one way while Ubaldo has pitched two straight gems.

And how is 4.71 quite a bit better than 4.91? lol.

2 weeks ago Ubaldo was well over 5 and Gomez was under 4 I believe...

News is that the Tribe has picked up a reliever from the Rockies. Since somebody will have to go....I suspect Tony Sipp has pitched his way to Columbus. If he can't be the match up lefty out of the pen, I don't see how he has too much usefulness.

Line on Gomez
5 IP...6H...2R...1ER...4BB...2K's
Though hardly dominant, the guy pitched decent enough. This one's on the middle relievers and the offense.

lol, I doubt Esmil Rogers and his 8+ ERA are going to make any contributions to the AAAA team.

Gomez was signed as a free agent pick up in 2005. He is only 24 years old and cannot be a free agent until 2018.

As for Rogers, he has no options left, so the he will be put on the roster and join the team tomorrow.

They really called that first run unearned?

While the dude was dead with a good throw from Santana, you cant assume it. Cueto easily scores on the Votto groundout, I would think. That run should be earned.

Earned run or not, he left the game with the score 2-1.... that's about all you can expect from a back end of the rotation guy.

Wouldn't have mattered if the Tribe's bullpen didn't give up a single hit. The offense still only scored 1 run.

However, you can't put all kinds of blame on the offense. Cueto pitched a hell of a game. He deserves a tip of the cap.

Yeah, Cueto was lights out. That first inning was the Tribes chance to do some early damage, but could only muster 1.

Kinda. I expect ANY starter to be able to go more than 5 innings.

Except for Jimenez...he would already have thrown 120 pitches.
