Well before you post you should probably be asking yourself "Am I saying this in order to mock the person I'm replying to?" If the answer is yes, it's probably not something you should say. I mean "that's the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard", while technically not a personal attack, is hyperbole and adds nothing to any conversation. I'm not affiliated with this site, nor am I attempting to pretend like I know what the new rule enforcement parameters will be, but I'm just going off of what I feel is adult conversation and debate.
I'm not sure if I've ever seen a debate/discussion on this site with anyone admitting, "Wow you made some really good points. I still disagree though, to each his own" or anything to that effect. Obviously we don't want to all act like we love each other and suck each other off (verbally, not literally because some may be into that), but honestly, discussions just devolve into one side mocking the other, even if both sides have good solid arguments. What contributes to that? Shit like "That's the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard!"
This is my opinion, and I've said this since this site was founded (of course, last time this was brought up a few years ago and I mentioned this, I was mocked and I'm sure someone said something like "That's the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard!")
