I am in a lot of people's homes and around a lot of dogs, the only breed I have ever been bitten by was a Jack Russell.

Only the breeders who are doing so. The majority of the breed, not at all.

BTW, neuter your dog and any risk virtually disappears, another example of ownership dictating the dog's actions.

you may take a rattlesnake into your home and not be bitten. But why take the chance, they are killers. The same with pit bulls. So many breeds of dogs out there, for just about any taste. Why a pit bull with their record of killing, that far exceeds any other dog.

I have a jack russell mix and she has to be locked up when strangers come over. When they leave and I turn her loose she will run around the house looking for them.

i know people with pit bulls that are timid as hell and run from cats and run and hide anytime someone comes to the door..i also know people w/ pitbulls that if given the chance they would rip out your throat...it is 100 percent the owner and how the dog is raised. I know far more people with labs/chiuahuas that bite than pit bulls that bite

Jack Russell's are brutal little pricks. Very cute dogs but viscious as Hell. Never seen one attack a human but have seen one go down into a woodchuck hole for about an hour and emerge covered in blood with a dead woodchuck 2-3 times their size. Stone cold assassins.
