We're not playing the Royals though lol...

Who the fuck was slacking on the LAA game thread? Nice inning by the offense... Brantley has been looking a bit better at the plate. Smoked that double to straight center.

I was waiting for someone else to do it. Masterson had a terrific bounce back game tonight. Offense struggled a bit with the clutch hit, but got them when it mattered the most. Great win overall.

Tribe outhits Angels 15-4. Never got to Weaver but used up his pitch count. Didn't like Masterson coming out for the ninth. Pestano slammed the door.

Tribe needs Masterson to pitch like that. Duh!

Detroit started like 5-1 and have fallen off since. They can't outslug everyone. Had a 6-5 lead over NYY and lost it.

As I said before. The Central is SOOO bad that the Tribe has a shot in 54 games from that alone (not counting Detroit, cause I said this before season).

Yes, very.

But it isnt wrong and has nothing to do with being drunk.

Central is really bad. So the Tribe can compete for that last WC spot based on the fact they get to play the Royals, Twins and Sox 18 times (54 total). I was so down on them in the offseason that being able to realistically think we could win all those games (going in, not actually go 54-0) gave me hope. It hasnt dwindled, cause the Twins are probably the worst team in baseball and the Royals are bad also.
