And the list could grow even larger if you add those that have gone on to play college sports at various levels.
James Barron-US Army Commander in Iraq
All of the Keenan boys are doing very well.
Todd Filtz-Maple Heights High school Head Football Coach
Russ Ranallo-University of Notre Dame kicker
Andrew Radakovich-Newcomer of the Year in his conference at YSU for football
Those are few off the top of my head. The list is a bunch longer than this, and it is great that all student/athletes from around the valley have a chance to better themselves in college, many from all schools have gone on to great things, so throwing stones is bush league.
Congrats to all the student/athletes in the valley and keep up the hard work both on and off the football field.
I arrested someone on that list :s....
as for the topic... Macon was just amazing... i'd venture to say that he prolly bearly lettered in the regular season due to lack of qtrs played... not to mention he showed the heart of a lion playing while injured... no doubt the boy from WM deserves some kudos but imo Macon deserved it...
oh and i'm not a "big red" fan... I actually sat on Mooney's sideline and cheered for them...
