That I do not know... I do understand that Macon missed a few games, but that it part of football. If he were in the running for Mr. Football, they wouldn't award him bonus points because he missed a few games... Its just the way it is.

No, He is not my son or relative. Yes I am dead serious that he is better than Pettaway. Lets see some numbers. And the fact that he played every down of every game on both sides even cements my argument more.

I am just saying that because Pettaway is from big red doesnt make him better than a kid from Creek. You big red fans still havent given any facts to say he is better.
If I start a team tomorrow I would pick Otto over Pettaway every day.

Dont count on that! As far as stats, there are more qualified people from Creek on here than me that should be able to get that info. I checked the chop but it isnt updated.

Its funny when they went head to head Shaq was the best defensive player on the field and Jesse Birden was number 2. How many tackles did the Otto kid have when he played Big Red? I think the coaches from West Virginia and Michigan State ought to hire you since they have offered Shaq and not Otto . Big mistake by them i guess.

If this award was based on stats then so be it.I didn't research these awards and how they are decided.I didn't vote online.I can't bitch about it.If these awards are based on stats then obviously the guy with the highest stats should win.

If this award is based on voting online then I could have won. If it is awarded based on stats then Otto should have been ahead of Pettaway. That is all I am saying. Dont make this a bigred award each year.

It's as simple as this, if either Otto or Nogay went to Big Red (and this is hypothetical/comparison purposes, no need for any recruiting/open enrollment talk) neither would start at their respective positions.

To all the big red fans on here I am not knocking Pettaway. He is a fine player. I am just saying that he never got any ovac awards but yet he wins this one. If it comes down to a popularity contest then they should do away with it.

Most of the coverage for high school sports in this area by WTOV and The Harald Star is 90% Big Red!
So how would anyone expect another high school athlete in this area to win a popularity contest?
