This occurred in a Russian Premier League match this weekend. The Spartak Moscow fans came up with a pretty awesome way to taunt the opposing team.

Best ever?

I would love to see sports fans in the US be able to do this kind of thing without being thrown out of the stadium.

It's a great move by them. But the fact that it is soccer just kills it for me. I don't see how people get so pumped up for a sport so boring to watch.

If people like certain sports, fine with them. But the facts are still facts. A group of athletic basketball players can hang with soccer stars - if nothing else they can disrupt the game by just kicking the ball down the field, over and over and over again.

A group of soccer stars against a decent basketball team loses 100-0, or whatever score the basketball team wants. They'd be lucky to even get a shot off, and they can't disrupt the game. They can foul, but that only results in scoring attempts for the team being fouled.

What about a group of un-athletic rec league lawyers, could soccer stars hang with them on a basketball court?

The video was pretty funny and creative until they started burning it. Burning things is rarely a good idea. Usually when you start burning things, only bad things will happen next.

This might be one of the dumbest posts ever on the OC, and that is saying a lot. If you actually believe this then you are truly hopeless, and you lose all credibility in sports.

He likes to think he played soccer "competitively" against other "good" soccer players. He played intramurals or some indoor league once and "held his own."

That means he knows "all" about the game and what it takes to be a quality player.

I've done it, pro players, no. But I'm no Rajon Rondo or Lebron James. I've played against all-state (Texas) soccer players, they'll beat me every time, but they aren't scoring 20 on me. Not when I'm sending the ball in the other direction every time I get a chance.

Again, this is based on experience. I've pissed off many fraternity brothers with this. Yeah, they'll beat us 3-0, maybe 4-0 on a good day, in basketball we pick our score. And as usual the soccer weenies chime in with their crap....you can DISRUPT the game. Do you even understand the meaning of the term disrupt?
