Gameday Knights!! Huge task in front of you today, but as a team you can do it. You've shown all season long what teamwork is all about.

Good luck men!

This looks to be the pitcher WH will be facing today:
The Redskins have a talented young team that features no seniors. However, they do feature one of the top juniors in the state in Johnny Crawford, who went on a streak of 45 1/3 straight scoreless innings. Crawford is 9-0 on the season allowing just three earned runs all season, 0.37 ERA, while striking out 73 in 56 innings.

What a game!! Knights played well enough and had scoring chances, but just fell short. Kudos to Wapa's defense, as it saved them the game. Their SS is a beast. Beast HS SS I've ever seen play...incredible range. Their CF made the game winning catch, laid flat out to snag a rope hit to straight CF.

Congrats Knights on an incredible run. You have made a name for yourselves in the record books, and the future is bright with so many returning players next year. You showed today you deserved to be there, and have nothing to hang your heads about.

Well said, Mr. 300. Knights proved they belonged there with offense, defense, and pitching. Just fell short to a very good (and even younger) team!

Wapakoneta's SS is definitely very good! Definitely top 10 SS I've seen. Probably not top 5 for me, though.

Congrats to the West Holmes Knights. They had a heck of a year. I'm already looking forward to OCC Baseball next year.

Next year will be another high octane season in the OCC. WH returns the best pitching staff in the OCC, Orrville returns a lot, Wooster will be solid, Ashland is always tough...should be awesome.

The boys of summer and out track athletes will be welcomed home today through Killbuck and Millersburg, then floowed up with a ceremony at the high school at 3pm.

Great weekend to be a West Holmes fan. Go Knights!
