It hard to believe but Madison is the worst team in the league, yes Senior is better than them. Good job for Luke, nice kid. We just need 1 bad outing this year from him preferably next week.

OSU missed the boat...should have went after Horner and left McGee here in Wayne County

Evens his record to 3-3 and brings his ERA down from almost 3.50 to around 2.25, which is just good enough to crack the top 15 in the Daily Record area.

Horner is hitting .400+ and is 5-0 (1.18 ERA) on the mound...Seems like he's the more complete player at this point in the season....but he's not a lefty.

Maybe the OSU coaching staff will consult with you regarding all future recruiting efforts.

Luke doesn't throw 75% curveballs like Horner. Luke has a nice effortless throwing motion. OSU will probably add 5 to 8 to his fastball. Can't wait to go down to Columbus next year to watch. Great kid and great family. I will miss watching him this summer, total treat when he pitched in travel ball. Keep up the good work, Luke.

I would take either one of them on my team unless you want to give me both, in Lukes defense the teams he has faced are a little tougher than the ones Horner has faced.

Exactly, strength of schedule. Kinda surprised I had to point that out to an Orrville guy.

Didn't I see that Horner took a loss to Smithville just recently, hard to compare them to West Holme, Ashland, and Glen Oak( I believe Lukes 3 losses). Best thing to happen to Horner will be getting pitching advise from the college level. Will make him more of a complete pitcher, kid does have good stuff.

Great win for the Knights!! Snyder was outstanding on the mound, and the Knights did what they had to do at the plate. Could have been more but hey, a win is a win.

Huge lulz to the Ashland head coach. What a guy!! He had the home crowd fired up, thanks to me! Imagine that.

Now if Orrville can only do the impossible and beat Ashland once! Twice is too much to ask!

What was Lavengood doing? Complaining about a call?

He complained about a play at first base, but the lulz came when one of his players took a called 3rd strike. The kid took a step, jawed with the ump, then took another step and turned and strated jawing again. The home town crowd started hollering to get him out of there, and old coach toox exception to that. Before long the ump march down the 3rd base line and warned him about the jawing, then he comes out of the dugout chewing about the fans. It was so dang funny, cause the the ump put him in his place and said you don't and can't argue balls and strikes.

Way to go Knights and the fans! made for long bus ride home.
