Well Mr. 300, you set yourself up for this one. Shall I pass the salt back to you while you stuff your face with crow? You just lost the OCC title against the worst team in the OCC! How good does second place feel now?

It was the umpires fault. They were horrible
/Rider fanned!
We just came out flat, bottom line. They wanted it more, and we still were recovering from the night before. We marched 2 pitchers out who never saw varsity mound duty all year. Just couldn't get it done.
Now dump that shaker all ya want!

IMHO Ashland, West Holmes, and Wooster were better than Grand Valley. Just not our day.

This WH team is playing their best ball at the right time. Another outstanding performance from Gabe Snyder tonight on the mound. I believe it was 2 hit gem, on a hot steamy night in Zanesville, and Gabe was working through the fatigue. Plus he sent a 2 strike pitch over the right field wall in his first at bat that got the hit parade started. Miami Trace just ran into a batting order that top to bottom is solid.
Now comes the tall order of Richmond Edison. The beast from the East, that beat the other beast from the East Stubberville early in the tny run. Who will WH march out on the hill tomorrow night? Should be interesting. If we have Baird at 100%, we play in the final four in my mind. But we don't, so lets roll the dice and see what happens. Congrats WH!

What a ballgame!! Edison is a sr dominated team, and for WH to shut them down and win the regional title was a total team effort tonight!! Cody Dial gutted 3+ innings to start, then Dillon Baird came on and was the total package on the mound. Even with the strained shoulder, and not pitched 2 weeks, he was incredible to watch!
This is a special group to be around. These young men all love to play the sport, and be a team member too! My son won a state championship earlier this year, and I'd love nothing more for him to make it 2!
GO KNIGHTS!!!!

Knights play Wapakoneta Thursday at 10am. Wapa knocked of Defiance in a mild upset last night to get to Cbus. Looks like 2 teams that mirror each other will play for the right to advance to the state title game.
Lots of work to do WH!
