I usually get mine from a local grocery store in hershey. When I go to Ohio I usually stop at hasslebachs meats outside of Fremont/ oak harbor. As for my burgers I buy the red robin ones from work. 27 bucks for about 12 pounds of burgers.

What do yo do with your meat when it's a little cheap?

Do you marinate and lubricate it?

Do you massage it?

Do you let it rest a little before going at it again?

I like to tenderize it. Hell It's mine, and I can beat my meat if I want to.

We actually got some meat from Omaha Steaks for Christmas from The Wife's Dad. We ended up ordering more stuff online from them later.

Growing up my parents used to go in and buy a side of beef, with others family members, as we had extra freezer. I don't have room for that now so it is either Omaha or right from a butcher.

...whererver my wife wants to purchase it from.

There's very few things in this world I detest. Shopping is one of them. She can purchase our groceries, including the meat, anywhere she wants so long as I don't have to worry about it ever.

The strip steaks from Carfagna's for $4.79/lb, what grade are they? Prime, choice, select, etc.? I didn't see it listed in the add. You'd think if they were so reputable, that key thing would be listed.

We typically raise our own, whether it is steers that we feed out (typically Herefords) or leftover showpigs that didn't make the cut.
