Of course I'd fortify the shit out of my perimeter and home much better than they did on The Walking Dead. Trench out some area around my property and fill it with fuel to light in case a herd comes by. Beyond that setup multiple razor wire barriers. All you have is time in the zombie apocalypse to accumulate items such as these.
