Tiger once again showing his classlessness and douchebaggery regarding the military. Shocking?

I didn't say you were crying. You are right I don't know what it is like to be on ship as a Squid. I am sorry your job is very very stressful.

Back on Topic: I still believe this Army guy should be put to death.

No crying here Tiger but your post was classless and disrespectful. Far as I am concerned all forces fight for the same team whether Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marines. All branches of service are different and with comes their own level of stress for each individual. There are people on the ground that love that shit and are not stressed and the same for those at sea. Then there are those that can't handle it whether on ground or sea. To each their own!

100%. Those marines or army guys on the ground are getting info from another source on where to go or where someone's at. My wife is USAF in intelligence. Everyday they are watching predators or other video moving marines or army guys on the ground. Making critical decisions on where to go. Point? That all jobs in all branches can be stressful. I hate when people try to say one is better then the other or whatever else. We are all on the same team and work TOGETHER.

In case you haven't noticed, Tiger's entire identity as a human being seems to be constructed around the fact that he was in the Marines. It's not only depressing to think about, but it makes it obvious why he would feel the need to denigrate the service of other branches.

You did this?

Also maybe with what I said wasn't the right way to say it. The point I was trying to get across to you is please don't compare the two. I understand your job might be stressful but it is nowhere close to being as stressful as someone on the ground.

If your ship gets hit with a missle, you can't go anywhere. On the ground, you can find cover when a firefight starts. I think it's ridiculous to say being on a ship isn't stressful. You're stuck on a ship for 6-12 months.. That alone is stressful.

I think I understand where Tiger was trying to go but it did come over very good.</SPAN>
Some of you who find a quick trigger to jump on some else for not being able to express themselves should take a step back and look at what you are doing. Just think about controlling that in a combat situation. Many Veterans who has suffered traumatic injury like Tiger and myself .. We&#8217;ve seen our own body part where they should be, smelled our burning flesh and the warmth of our blood fall to the ground. That fear of death, helplessness and the terrifying unknown of what the future if any will hold is a powerful and lasting emotion. We have a strong internal bond for other soldiers who may be persecuted justly or unjustly, we the combat harden and forged in fire fight soldier are linked to something we can&#8217;t explain. We defend the soldier because we feel something we can&#8217;t rationalize but we also deplore the action that reflects on all American Military.

Oh look, Tiger's turned another thread about a soldier into a "you're a pussy if you weren't a Marine" thread. Shocking.

Yes, Tiger, with your outlook on the other branches of military, you are classless and lack respect.

Where did I say anything about the Marines? Oh yes I did answer Fabs question.
But what I did say was "Please don't compare what you did on ship to this Soldier. There is nothing stressful about sitting on a ship." and like I did say later was yes you might have some stress on ship but it is nothing compared to what this soldier faced.
