Seeing as I'm lucky enough to live in the Chugach National Forest, I'll post some pictures of various hikes my wife and I have taken:

Fab1b;1097954 wrote:Heading up to NW NC St Patty's day weekend to do some hiking. Hitting Graveyard Fields for sure, not sure what else maybe Mt Mitchell. Hiked up near Asheville, NC a few years back and loved it. We are camping, gonna be a bit cold still, but can't wait! Any other hikers here? Been hitting some local trails around home here in Jacksonville lately. Picked up some new boots this weekend looking to break them in this Friday on a trail just north of Jacksonville.

I did an Outward Bound near Ashville when I was younger. We climbed then repelled Table Rock if youve heard of that.

Hiked Yosemite National Park 5 years ago. Though I am recovering from knee replacement surgery I hope to go back again.
Start here in the valley. Hike the 15 mile trail to the base of Half Dome and camp for the night.

Wake up in the morning and take the steep climb to the top using the cables
