Bingo.

We, the taxpayers, just spent 17x$26,000(the last number I remember hearing for a per inmate)= $442,000 + the tremendous price of his appeals. It's bull****. I know I'm glad he has to face the families of the people he murdered, but because of how our appeals system(even though Ohio moved appeals straight to the Ohio Supreme Court, the Feds still take a while and cost) works he is more likely to die in prison than actually get the needle. Granted, I just moved to a different topic, but how is that fair? The typical insanity bull**** will be pleaded, but I hope to God he doesn't get off.
This is the type of case where a pistol with one bullet is needed.
He won't get the death penalty.

No one solves problems the old fashioned way anymore, they shoot. Kids don't play outside, too many kids don't play sports, the rules in sports have changed drastically, everyone sues everyone when the wind blows the way they don't want, I could go on all day!
The old fashioned way was to shoot each other in a duel, so it is sort of the same thing.

Until you put up numbers I would guess no one on here knew those numbers. Also If I had to guess no one on here knew there was school shootings before columbine on here. Therefore the question is kind of a moot point.
You never heard of any shooting in a school before Columbine? You don't remember Kip Kinkel?
Columbine is remembered more often because it was deadlier, but there have been shootings since I can remember (I'm 29).
