The take-out play to break-up double plays has now degenerated to an unacceptable dangerous level when after getting a force out at 2B the fielder can still be taken out like Holliday did to Scutaro without penalty when the fielder steps way behind 2nd before making the throw and the runner flies right over the bag into him. That should have been called a double play!

Carpenter charged with an error to allow the 2nd run. He did not make a misplay! Kind of like an outfielder making a perfect throw and the ball gets away and he gets an error. Then the Giants get 3 after that on the Scutaro hit.

That was the most perfect and speedy karma I've ever seen.

You suck Holliday.

Craig was so lost on that play. His error.

I'm no Arod fan but its a joke how he's being treated by the manager. Nobody on the team is hitting. They're down 0-2, benching one of the guys who could possibly help get the team out of that hole sounds like a terrible idea.

And he's had success against Verlander this year.

JV will throw a no-no tonight. I think I agree with Cowherd.

He looks on every night. Only chance the yanks have is to capitalize on the very few mistakes he makes with home runs. They most certainly won't be stringing hits together to score runs.

He has made some tonight. He, and every pitcher ever always does, but they havent capitalized.

Grandersons 3-1 fastball couldve easily been a HR. But JV has good movement his mistakes are tough, and the Yankees are just a joke right now. Bad combo lol.

I was yelling like crazy when JV came out for the 9th. 131 pitches is just way too many for a human being

No I'd be sweating it out cause I don't want his arm to explode on the mound. Scherzer better come out big tomorrow night. One more:thumbup:

if i were the yankees, i'd bat ichiro 1, nunez 2, and ibanez 3. i would then hope nobody realizes when those three repeat the order 4-6 and 7-9

Pretty amazing a team can get to where the Tigers are-one win from a World series with one good pitcher in the rotation and the rest are bums.

Sherzer and Fister are far from being bums.
