Saw on Buster Olney's twitter that Harper had the 2 fastest HR trots in MLB this season and the quickest average trip around the bases.
For all the stuff you heard in the minors....he's playing this game with incredible fire.
I've watching a lot of his minor league games in person and a lot of stuff was blown out of proportion. He's a huge competitor and he was definitely frustrated he was struggling a bit in AA. I've always been a fan of his. Reminds me of how Pete rose used to play

9 more outs to save a 3 run lead.
Bring in Strasburg.

I have no idea why 50,000 Washington Nationals fans were singing Take On Me....but it was awesome.

Unreal.
Does it take a wooden stake through the heart to kill these Cardinals?
I have never seen a team be as clutch as them the past 2 years facing elimination. This is ridiculous.

Barring a miracle, we're going to go from some of the best LDS' in a while to a boring as fuck playoffs from here on out. I shudder at the thought of NYY/DET and STL/SF, and the World Series will blow ass regardless of combination of those teams.

Cardinals trying their hardest is better than the Reds trying their hardest because they are smarter and more baseball savvy and fundamentally sound in their approaches from the manager and coaches to the players on the field. Reds will not get to where they can do better than the Cards with Baker and Jacoby!

Another manager totally fucks up. Motte is on deck.. You have a base open. You put the 8th batter on and force the cards to use a pinch hitter and their last position player. Instead they get beat by the 8th hitter and motte is back out to pitch. Glad dusty isn't the only fucktard

I did put $75 at 8:1 that the Yankees would win the World Series.
The last 6 times Kentucky has won the national title in basketball, 1949, 1951, 1958, 1978, 1996 and 1998, the Yankees have followed that with a World Series title.

This a joke? These LCS should be amazing! Yankees and Tigers rematching after last years thrilling 5 game series in the ALDS and the last 2 WS Champs in St Louis and San Francisco, 2 teams that are nothing but clutch. Won't miss a gamets1227;1293802 wrote:Barring a miracle, we're going to go from some of the best LDS' in a while to a boring as **** playoffs from here on out. Maybe, but the statistical odds of the same two teams winning a title in the same year 6 times is incredibly low. Sure, the Yankees have a ton of titles, but UK only has 8 total...so it's been incredibly timely.Midstate01;1293808 wrote:That's the dumbest ****ing stat I've ever read. It was worth the bet though...1 in 4 shot now...although I don't see New York beating Detroit in a best of 7.

The Cardinals are professional baseball players. The rest are just amateurs. Its sickening how good they continue to be.
