Msu creates matchup problems with us. We don't match up well with them at all.

Not trying to disrespect Mich St defense, but I'm getting little tired of hearing about their 'D' this game. I think it's more the Bucks (and a little bit of the refs) that's slowing down OSU's offense.

I don't think the officiating has been terrible. Sully is getting his arms hit, but he's gotta go through those. I do think msu has been over the back a lot. But I don't think the officials have much to do with us being behind. He just are playing terrible offensively. Nobody can hit anything. Someone has to get hot soon.

That's the main thing. The swallowed whistles have next to nothing to do with their inability to hit the broad side of a barn.

There have been 17 total fouls in this game (MSU 12, OSU 5)

Sully needs to start finding the open man or get the ball out further.

OSU is just getting beat up in a good old fashioned back yard brawl. It's not over, but they need to man up. Buford has been non existent.

In defense of him, he gets hit and fouled without calls more then any player in the country. Because he's big, it seems the refs allow more contact. I'm ok with him smirking, because that's better then saying something wrong to the ref and getting a T.

You have a point to an extent.

Sure, he gets hit a lot, but A) every big man in basketball (NCAA/NBA) in the past 20 years that isn't playing for Duke has dealt with basically having to go to the ground to get a call, and B) you play in the B1G, which has a history of being physical. Whining does nothing other than make you look like a bitch.

Agree. I love him, but he's been spoiled by always getting calls. He creates contact and refs more often than not bail him out. He's being exposed today as not athletic enough and not physical enough to play through a little contact.

The guy is huge and creates his own contact w/ defenders..he's going to get hit, doesn't make it fouls. All big men get knocked around, especially the ones that create their own contact.
