But I was tuned into WBNS 1460AM The Fan about a week ago and a couple of callers AND the host (sorry, I forget his name) were all discussing this very issue. All of them were complaining that IF the Buckeyes fall in March Madness it will be because Matta is reluctant to rotate his bench and I have noticed it as well.

In fact they were laughing about how Matta gets annoyed with reporters who ask him why he DOESN'T use his bench more frequently. I guess you'll insist that it's because he does.

You can point to the Purdue game as an exception - that's fine - but I'm not the only one who has noticed Matta's reluctance to use his bench.

I have a hunch you'll see that today.

Oh please, give it a rest. So, callers into the show is the best you can come up with? lol Does Matta ride his starters? Absolutely he does..in the past when he didn't have much of a bench. The guy has multiple regular season titles, multiple big ten tourney titles, etc, etc. If thats the biggest gripe..so be it.
And again, if you have followed OSU this year, YOU would KNOW he has in fact used his bench quite a bit. Often times going 9 deep. Purdue was NOT an exception. Check out the starters avg time this year. Its WAY below what it has been in the past. Those are FACTS..not an attack. lol

Buford - 33 min
Craft - 29 min
Sullinger - 28 min
Thomas - 28 min
Smith - 23 min
