And yes, I can say OSU could beat any team in the country on any given day on a nuetral court. I have no problem saying that at all. They have the talent, no question. I have no problem saying that about a number of teams.
And I wouldn't go hanging your hat on KU over OSU when Sullinger didn't play in that game. Nor do I look at that loss for OSU as anything. The NCAA committee will probably not even look at that game. Nor do I think UK win over KU was that significant as KU wasn't playing worth a crap early on.
And Baylor has been swept by both KU and Mizzou. So how good are they? Very questionable IMO. Certainly NO better than Duke or Florida IMO.

I don't have a problem saying that OSU can beat anyone on a neutral court at anytime..but don't say it because of how they've played and who they've beaten this year...because the ONLY legitimate way to make that claim is to simply say they have the talent (which they do) and they'll peak at the right time.

Our biggest problem remains a lack of deep threat that opens up the middle allowing Sully to have a little space and be able to utilize what he does best. We're easy to defend without having to stretch the D. Seems simple enough.

The reason I grouped them that way is that I don't feel there's a truly dominant team because there's so many good ones this year. I think any of my final four candidates could get hot and run the table in March. Just my opinion obviously.

Agree. Games like this happen. Little disappointing it was a home loss. But hell, UNC was drilled by 30+. Its forgotten already. Good teams move on. OSU has to get ready for Minny in Tues.

I didn't say GT wasn't any good. They are what they are, a 5 loss team with losses to unranked teams like WVU, Pitt and UC. They are good. But I wouldn't consider them any better than Florida and not as good as Duke.

I guess I'm just not an alarmist like it appears most are. When you look at the losses we've taken, Sully out one game, refs-gone-wild vs IU, one player goes off vs Illi., lasts nights game was really the only loss that can be attributed to a crappy night overall. There aren't many teams that can claim that at this point in the season. Not claiming we'll be fine because I don't know if we will given what I see as our achilles heel, but we're in need of learning how to overcome it one way or another.

Stail??...Osu is 8-2 their last 10 games. Is that a bad thing??

At this point, they are a lock for a 1-4 seed, probably a 1 if they win out, 2 or 3 with one more loss.

It's all going to depend on the match ups when the bracket comes out. Ohio State was the #1 overall seed and had the hardest path to the Final Four last year. Seeding doesn't mean shit. The conference championship means shit but it's not like OSU hasn't won it the last two seasons. This year is about getting to the Final Four and as of right now that's still up for grabs.
