My friend did the same thing you did called the bank when he was layed off. They told him that since he was enrolled in the auto bill pay online they would just suspended his payments for 6 months until he found a new job. He got one in about 3 months so he didn't have to worry about it getting repoed.

I've never had a car get repoed but I was there when one of my ex-GFs sisters car got repoed funniest thing ever was watching her flip out about it I guess she hadn't made a payment in like 9 months lol.
That's ridiculous, and she still flipped out? She knew damn well she wasn't paying it off. I don't understand why any people flip out when their car is being repoed. They know what they were doing was wrong. Just a bunch of entitled idiots looking for everything to be handed out to them.

It probably is the same instinct that you see out of crooks when the get busted and deny any wrongdoing.

Yeah it wasn't really angry flipping out I mean she did that a little at first then it turned into the woman crying/woe is me type shit. But I agree with your last points so true.

When my parents first started their dealership they did some repos themselves. My moms favorite story was my dad repoing one in oozy alley in Columbus it the 90s and deciding he should knock on their door and give them their plates back.
