Weidman is really really good. It's going to be hard for anyone to beat him at 185. Rumble gassed after one round the key to beating him is going to be surviving the first five minutes. Great card all around.

can't believe how big Weidman is at 185, just a monster there, was in trouble early and just eats it and his ground game and ground and pound are vicious.

He looked as big as Rockhold looked vs Machida. Rockhold is probably the only one close to his size at 185.

Can't say I'm a fan of DC. Talking huge shit after winning the belt like he's had it for years. How long does Jones have to be out before people consider DC the legit champ? Considering Jones gets an immediate title shot when he comes back, it's really nothing more than the interim belt.

Where was he talking huge shit? And if he was that makes perfect sense because promoting that rematch is huge $$$ for him. Being UFC champ is very hard. You have be a well rounded fighter, and handle your business outside the cage. Jon could only do half of that, and therefore he isn't UFC champ material right now. He's on the roster, isn't the champ, but gets a title shot upon his return. How is that any different than if he was the champ and just injured? The shit talking was with Ryan Bader. DC needs to hype all his title fights as much as possible because he got beat up by Jones. If Rumble won, then everyone would have that mystery of what would happen if and when they fought.

What a letdown this season of the Ultimate Fighter has been. I was really pumped about the new format and "team" competition, but man... not only has American Top Team not brung it, but damn have the fights been bottom-line BORING. Dana has to be shitting himself.

Damn that was a hell of a fight, would have loved to seen it continue. Alves' nose was pushed back into his skull it looked like, nasty.

The UFC rolled out their anti doping and drug testing policy and partnership with USADA today, random blood and urine testing year round. Believe this is a first in major sports.

White just confirmed Rockhold will get the next MW title shot. Also, talks of Gustavson getting the next LHW title shot, which is dumber than Cormier getting one, considering Gus got his ass kicked kicked by Rumble. With Jones getting suspended, I'm really surprised how much I'm not interested in the LHW division.
I'm pretty surprised too how little UFC is promoting the HW title fight. I'll believe the fight will happen when the bell rings, until then, I think Cain will get injured.

They showed Cain on embedded when DC was training for Rumble before he left for Vegas, and he looked awful. Full on 70 year old grandpa body.
