I love the tagline on the Slice/Shamrock fight that we've been waiting 7 years for it.

I know they were supposed to fight 7 years ago when at least Kimbo was still relevant (as more a sideshow than anything legit, but still relevant), but Ken supposedly got hurt in training and, if memory serves, Kimbo got beat in 10 seconds by the no-name who replaced him (Seth Backinsky or something like that, I think).IggyPride00;1736260 wrote:I love the tagline on the Slice/Shamrock fight that we've been waiting 7 years for it.

Hell I remember Shamrock back in the early days of the UFC with Royce Gracie and the rest. In UFC one a boxer tried to wear one glove going against Royce....didnt work out too well.
The UFC has great momentum but cannot start down that road where people start to believe it is fake like WWF.
