Bader should be pissed, getting passed over by Gustafson who only has one top ten win in his career over a fading Shogun.

If Cain wins he should be booked immediately again to defend his belt, he has a lot of lost time to make up for, he should try and fight in the fall and at the end of the year.

I 100% think he gets injured before, during, or after this fight. No way he fights again this year.

Trying to be optimistic here lol They changed their frequency of sparring at AKA so hopefully that helps keep him healthy.

This is why I love Cerrone. He'd fight no matter what was wrong with him. I think guys that train year round like him and all the guys in Fabers camp are much less injury prone. It also might do Cain some good to lean out a bit.

A lot of guys fight injured, not just Cerrone. You're right about guys staying in shape year round though, seems like they are less injury prone. Machida and Diaz brothers come to mind. Stay in shape and don't balloon out of camp.

No judges needed.
Poirier looked great. Mitrione looked great too til he made a fatal mistake. Rothwell is nutty lol

HENDO!!! Hell yeah.

Also - Poirier brutalized Medeiros, hope he can make a run at 155, he's always exciting, except for the McGregor fight ha

Loved this card. Action packed and as stated above no judges needed! Love to see Hendo get a win maybe he'll KO Bisbing one more time and ride off.

UFC 188 tonight, the return of Cain. Should be a great fight against Werdum who has looked awesome the last few years, co main is awesome too, Melendez vs Alvarez. That one should be a war.

I'll take Cain and Melendez. I think Caib rolls over Werdum

Don't think the layoff hurts him? Werdum is really improved over the last few years, Cain is a monster though.

My god Werdum put it on Cain in the stand up, who looked gassed and rusty, and subbed him. New HW Champ! Thoroughly dominated him! Crazy!

Cain looked bad but I think partly due to Verdum just being so much better over his current run.

Also I thought Melendez eek'd that out over Alvarez. Man his eye looked bad!

Ring rust is no joke.

Glad Alvarez won, especially since Gil had 2 title shots already. One month until the biggest fight of the year, I can't decide if I want Aldo or McGregor. I'm hoping all the shit talk will bring back the WEC killer Aldo used to be.

Joanna is a 7-1 favorite over Penne in the title fight this weekend. That's way to high in my opinion. Esparza was horrible in that last fight and it is inflating Joanna's public view. Her last two fights before that were decisions, and the second one was very close. I think she should be favored, but I see alot of value in putting some money down on Penne.

So am I. He was my favorite part of WEC just because he would straight up murder dudes with ease. Just haven't really seen the same killer instinct since.

It could be that or the competition is getting better.

GSP used to murder people too, back in the "older" UFC days the non-champs were just overall not good. GSP would walk through guys with ease, even walk through the current champ in Hughes. Competition got better overtime, and just like in other sports like wrestling, you can flashy pin guys that suck, but have to grind out 2-1 'boring' matches against state placers if you are the best.

The Aldo that fought Mendez last time out was a monster. That fight looked like it was on fast forward when I was watching it.

I'll just tune in tomorrow to see if Ken survived or if he was killed in the ring. Where he's at right now, Kimbo probably will be able to say he had more trouble with the average YouTube conquest from back in the day. 51-year-old tomato cans with no diversity in their game and no ability to take hard blows don't inspire faith in me as to creating a good fight. Or anything more than a morbidly humorous spectacle.
