Any specific video or just all of 'em?
Totally agree. I think his strategy is working though. I think he's going to get Aldo off his game, i can see him winning the fight.Scarlet_Buckeye;1717971 wrote:Part of me enjoys/appreciates McGregor and his antics, and then the other part of me is like I hope he gets his face smashed in.

Wow I thought Masvidal got robbed against Iaquinta, Mendes knocks out Lamas in the first round after Lamas started well.

Ben Henderson said he'd make 170lbs since 186 looks pretty lack luster name wise, definitely not PPV worthy. I cannot wait for 187 though. The Rockhold/Machida card looks great too.

Masvidal most certainly got robbed. The first could have been a 10-8 (maybe should have been) and the 2nd was definitely his. I could MAYBE see the 3rd going to Iaquinta but even that one could have went to Masvidal.robj55;1718596 wrote:Wow I thought Masvidal got robbed against Iaquinta, Mendes knocks out Lamas in the first round after Lamas started well.
Iaquinta didn't make any fans with his reaction to the crowd either (he may have got a talking to from the powers that be as well).

UFC 186 was awesome at first, completely fell apart. Next weeks card on FOX makes up for it thought somewhat, great free card. 187 is insane, please no injuries.Raw Dawgin' it;1719714 wrote:Ben Henderson said he'd make 170lbs since 186 looks pretty lack luster name wise, definitely not PPV worthy. No thoughts on Mendes vs. Lamas?!?! I intentionally stayed away from this thread because I hadn't seen the fight yet, but now 2-3 days later... I've finally had a chance to go back and watch the fight... I come here, and NOTHING. :-/ I thought one of the guys looked GREAT and is definitely ready for the winner of Aldo/McGregor. I won't say who in case people haven't seen the Mendes/Lamas fight yet.

Mendes isn't getting a 3rd crack at Aldo. Maybe he'll get McGregor, but most likely not, since there will be an immediate rematch. My guess is Chad fights Edgar or Faber.Scarlet_Buckeye;1719865 wrote:No thoughts on Mendes vs. Lamas?!?! Mendes is beast with his power, speed and wrestling. If he couldn't beat Aldo I'm not sure anyone can.

I think Mendes might be a bad matchup for McGregor as well because of his wrestling. Mendes is awesome he's just stuck in a weight class with Aldo.

Chad has good wrestling but doesn't really have a smothering top game. I'd like to see him vs Edgar if Frankie beats Faber.sportchampps;1719873 wrote:I think Mendes might be a bad matchup for McGregor as well because of his wrestling. Mendes is awesome he's just stuck in a weight class with Aldo.

I suspect we might see two out of those three, not sure Mendes and Faber would ever fight, maybe for a title.Raw Dawgin' it;1719992 wrote:I'd like to see Mendes vs Edgar, Faber, and McGregor.

Rumors of Nate Diaz vs Matt Brown at UFC 189, what a sick fight that is, foty candidate. Card is shaping up to be huge also.

Maybe "you're only as good as your last fight" is stuck in my head, but I just don't see Diaz beating Brown.robj55;1720023 wrote:Rumors of Nate Diaz vs Matt Brown at UFC 189, what a sick fight that is, foty candidate. Card is shaping up to be huge also.

Well he had broken ribs going into that fight and wasn't in shape hence why he missed weight, he certainly can perform better than he did last time out. Tough fight against the bigger Brown but that's definitely a good match up for him, Brown isn't a big wrestler that holds people down. This will play out on the feet primarily I think.Raw Dawgin' it;1720096 wrote:Maybe "you're only as good as your last fight" is stuck in my head, but I just don't see Diaz beating Brown.

Diaz beat the piss out of Maynard, so i now he can beat wrestlers. I'm sure it'll be a great match up, but man his last fight was brutal.robj55;1720119 wrote:Well he had broken ribs going into that fight and wasn't in shape hence why he missed weight, he certainly can perform better than he did last time out. His tdd has gotten a lot better. Won't matter against Brown though because the fight will stay standing unless there is a knockdown. Brown is weak to the body so that may be a path to victory for Nate.Raw Dawgin' it;1720171 wrote:Diaz beat the piss out of Maynard, so i now he can beat wrestlers. To be fair the Maynard he destroyed was hardly even UFC caliber. He fell off a cliff after his last loss to Frankie.robj55;1720279 wrote:His tdd has gotten a lot better. Diaz was beaten on the feet vs. Bendo, RDA and Thompson. This will be an interesting match up though, and it's a great fight!

Yeah it's sad to see what has happened to Gray, went from being one of the best t unranked and really having durability issues.Zoltan;1720330 wrote:To be fair the Maynard he destroyed was hardly even UFC caliber. He fell off a cliff after his last loss to Frankie.

I also wonder if some of the enhanced drug testing caught up to him. He used to be a monster, and can't take anyone down anymore.robj55;1720370 wrote:Yeah it's sad to see what has happened to Gray, went from being one of the best t unranked and really having durability issues.
