Could be, I never pegged him as a guy who used anything but it's hard to say honestly. To me he started hurting guys on the feet and went away from his wrestling for a long time. He was never a KO artist like some people thought although he had good power.

Cro Cop got his revenge earlier today in Poland. After being down two rounds to Gonzaga he hurt him with a elbow standing and battered him with elbows and punches in his guard to get the tko win.

UFC did their typical strong arm tactics to put all the blame on the fighter. Nate said he loved the fight on monday on the mma hour, just that he wanted someone from the UFC to contact him about it. Now they are making it look like he turned down the fight, this is what they do.

I think you're just going out on a limb to defend the Diaz's at all costs.

No they do it all the time, Cub Swanson just said he found out he was fighting Max Holloway when the fight was announced in the media. They also cut guys without calling them directly or calling their managers.

Can't wait for the sick free card on FOX this weekend. Lyoto vs Rockhold is really hard to predict.

I really want to see Souza get a title shot. He's becoming one of my favorite fighters in the 185 division. I'd also like to see Rockhold win just to get some new contenders at the top.

That was beyond impressive by Rockhold. Lyoto was tagging him hard and clean early in the fight, looked like Lyoto slipped and Rockhold took advantage. Lyoto just couldn't get back to his feet and get Rockhold off him, Rockhold looked like a huge LHW on top of Lyoto. That elbow looked borderline illegal at the end of the first round and it really messed Lyoto up, don't think he was in there after that. I don't even think he had his mouthpiece in for the second round, that's how out of it he was. Rockhold vs Weidman would be awesome. Hope Lyoto can bounce back, unfortunate that he slipped.

looked like more than a slip, looks like he got him right behind the ear. I think Lyoto is losing some power, like you said, he tagged Rockhold a few times and they didn't phase him.

Also - I'd rather see Souza get a title shot, but destroying Carmozzi again won't do it. It's unfortunate Romero pulled out.

I wish Machida was younger. I think if he still had his power from 205 he could beat Rockhold. He hit Rockhold clean a few times but it had no effect.

Rockhold looked like a HW on top of Lyoto on the mat, he was just smothering. Lyoto may finally be starting to slow down, curious to see how he bounces back after this. I would still favor him over almost anyone at both MW and LHW, think his days of being a champion again are officially over though.

Yep, his head had no place to move either, took the full force of the shot.

Rockhold looked great. Live, I thought the elbow was borderline illegal. Watching the gif above, it's obvious it was a legal blow, but damn... that's a pretty devastating blow. I would be fine with MMA outlawing that kind of blow in the future if they wanted to. That was devastating.
