Cowboy now has 2 performances of the night 1 ko of the knight and 1 submission of the night in his last 4 fights. That's 200k in bonus money since November. He knows how to put on a show and is a hell of a fighter.

Hell of a show, pretty much all finishes and some real wars. That Lineker fight was awesome. Cowboy was impressive as well after another slow start.

Thought Cowbow was going to get screwed when a body shot was confused with a low blow.

Same here I thought Miller whom landed a big punch shortly after may rally but Cowboy got the finish. Overall a good card.

The Notorious Connor McGregor returns and stops Diego Brando in the first round, the crowd was the loudest I've ever heard it was insane.

I for one am pumped. I obviously don't know for sure but in my mind Bones woud have ended up stopping the fight against Gustafsson and I have no clue what he will do with Cormier.

McGregor is a big boy at 145, and he has some aggressive striking. I'm interested in what he can do vs. Poirier. Regardless, the guy has "it" and is already a huge draw.

Cormier vs. Jones is just a flat out awesome match up.

5'11" vs 6'4" height ?
72.5" vs 84.5" reach ? Full foot reach advantage?

If Cormier comes to wrestle the entire fight he will win, Jon won't be able to stop DC from taking him down imo. This is why you do rematches when you can. Now if Jon loses, the Gus fight loses all of it's luster.

He picked up Hendo and Barnett over his head and slammed them lol He could very well rag doll Jon if he gets his hands on him.

It will be interesting because Cormier is the first guy that Jones has ever fought that is head and shoulders a better wrestler (and actually uses it in MMA).

Evans had better college wrestling credentials but Jones is the better MMA wrestling. Cormier is an olympic level wrestler and uses it very well in the cage.

I don't see Jones KO'ing Cormier when he is closing the distance, Jones would have to stay outside and pick him apart. I could really see Jones playing a Machida type match where he is in and out and circling.

That's the one thing that worries me about Jon, that he doesn't have that one strike fight ending power. I think that is going to be a huge problem against DC and especially troubling if he ever moves up to HW.

I know Mark Coleman said he has never seen someone as athletic or as strong as Cormier in MMA or wrestling.

Im more more pumped up for Matt Brown this weekend I would love to see the local kid win and fight for the title next.

Thank god! The mma gods do exist! Now time to get Nate back in the mix, the ufc needs as many stars as possible right now with as many shows as they are running.
