Glad to see Nick back I won't be surprised if they try to put together a Silva vs Diaz fight which IMO. Is a waste

I think that fight makes all the sense in the world. Both coming off losses and huge layoffs. Fight would be massive.

And I think that's what we'll all see happen.

I think DC is the first fighter to go against Jones that I could picture winning.

So Matt Brown missed weight. He was 172.5 when he weighed in. Normally he would have had two hours to lose the 1.5lbs but the commission for some reason wouldn't let him. Dana White argued with the commission and they decided to drop the 20% fine since he was willing to cut the weight. He will also still be able to receive any bonus should he earn one.

I wonder why they wouldn't let him weigh in again? Either way Brown vs Lawler tonight should be absolutely insane.

Brown is a tough SOB and I'm a huge fan, but I think he is too slow to ever be top tier in his weight class. Great fight.

I thought Matt Brown probably won 2 rounds. Losing a 5 round war to Lawler doesn't meet you can't compete with the top tier guys. I wouldn't be surprised if both of his hands were broken. I would like to see him against Ellenberger next.

I wasn't aware he fought after Cormier previously. I suppose I'll give the guy a chance, he just had no reason to even be in the match against Cormier and it was a huge let down.

He took that match against Cormier on VERY short notice against one of the best fighters in the world. He has shown since that he belongs.
