True. What about Nick "The Promise" Ring. Sounds better if it was Nick "The ****" Ring.

Edit : saw that it got ****'d out. We'll just say slang for Penis.

Dude fell straight down. Did you see his leg position after he was dropped. He still tried to go for the legs until the final blow.

It's typically Bleu Edmondson.

I cannot believe people are claiming Condit won that fight. I don't see that happening.

Condit even knew he lost. I like Hendricks more and more every time I see him fight.

GSP has a shutout going after round 1. Diaz forgot to fight.

Oh...that's right, he was getting dominated.

Diaz sucks. He musta not knew GSP's fighting style -- he did nothing to combat any wrestling.

No surprise. Hendricks was my favorite tonight.

Only Condit fans saw it that way.

GSP is a beast but I was really hoping Diaz would win. I'm bored with GSP's fights. Diaz sounded like a complete moron in the post fight interview though. Yikes.

No one in their right mind would claim Condit won that with the way judging is done. However, it is a good starting point for a discussion about wrestling perhaps being scored too highly in MMA. And that's coming from a wrestler. Condit did more damage from the bottom than Hendricks did from the top. Control is something that should be considered I think but then at some point you have to step back and see who was actually damaging the opponent. That being said I don't particularly have a problem with this decision (mostly because it was the right one in the context of how judging is currently done) especially because it opens up all sorts of other interesting fights for Carlos who is quickly becoming one of my favorite fighters.

And how about my boy Jordan Mein? Always love watching him fight.

Yeah, no reasonable fan would give that to Condit.

I love Hendricks' style, he's a fucking wild man....but the day he gets KTFO is coming. He launches that left with reckless abandon and leaves himself wide open at times. He reminds a bit of vintage Chuck Liddell.

Condit did more damage than Hendricks but the way judges score now the fight definitely went to Hendricks. I am a huge wrestling/grappling fan and I HATE that the only way to win off your back is a finished submission. Damage needs to be a bigger component than control.

Now, GSP did both of those, he out struck Diaz on the feet, where everyone said he couldn't, and controlled the fight.

I turned the GSP fight off after the second round. I streamed the fights, I refuse to pay to watch Capt. Decision fight.

How gsp is such a bit ppv draw is beyond me. He is hands down the most boring champion in UFC history. all he did was throw a few jabs, take Díaz down and proceed to just stall. Even when they were on their feet he'd look at the clock see the round waa winding down snd take Díaz down n stall the rest of the round away.

how anybody is a fan of him and his style is a mystery me.

I'd rather watch GSP than Dominic Cruz. Not everyone can be finishers like Silva, Bones, and Cain.

Yeah, but the problem is that GSP can finish a fight. I realize the dude is a beast but damn he is boring. I thought it was dumb though when Nick got back to his corner after the first or second round and said "he fights like a bitch." GSP isn't dumb enough to stand all fight with Nick.

no one has forced him to do anything different. no one is good enough to make him take risks. I really hope Hendricks gets a shot, I'm curious how his wrestling will hold up. I also want to see Ellenberger get a shot too. I'm not interested in him fighting Silva, I think he'd do what Chael did minus get subbed.

I disagree about Silva/GSP but I'm looking forward to Hendricks/GSP.
