I think Weidman could throw a wrench in Dana's plans, I think he has a very realistic shot at beating Anderson.

I would love to see Spider/GSP or Spider/Bones. I've been waiting for both for a while now.

I'd rather See Jones vs Silva than GSP. Also - how about instead of Rousey fighting Tate or Carano, they all just have a 3 way in the octagon. That'll do 1 mill PPV buys for sure.

I do think if there is a chick out there who is quick and can box, that they could beat Rousey. Still not interested in seeing a woman get KTFO though.

Ronda's grappling (while standing and top position) is SO high level that no girl will survive once it is close enough to clinch.Raw Dawgin' it;1395799 wrote:I do think if there is a chick out there who is quick and can box, that they could beat Rousey. At least until the UFC signs Kyra Gracie. She already faced by far the best wrestler in the women's division in Tate.
The only striker I see having a shot (except for that 1 shot KO) is a karate type like Machida that jumps in and out.
I just don't even see a brawler like Cyborg beating her, as soon as she goes all ape crap Ronda throws her and then is on top working an armbar.
People just don't realize who good her judo and top game is.

Machida is back tracking now, saying he wants another fight before facing Jones again. Put him in against Jones, let him get beat again so we can stop hearing his nonsense. He turned down a short notice title fight, now he doesn't want to wait for a title fight. The only fight I'm interested in with Machdia is Anderson Silva. Then again, that would probably be a really boring fight since both are counter punchers.

The woman with a legit shot to beat Ronda is former Olympic wrestler Sara McMann IMO!jmog;1396106 wrote:Ronda's grappling (while standing and top position) is SO high level that no girl will survive once it is close enough to clinch.

Aldo will now get a title shot at 155 with a win over Pettis.
The way they booked that fight so early for August never really seemed right to me. I have my doubts it actually happens.

He wants another fight to stay sharp, I see no harm in that. Also, he did the right thing in turning down that fight on 2 weeks notice against Jones. Jones was in peak form from already being in camp for 8 plus weeks and Machida wasn't. Plus, he had already lost to him once, if he loses to him again he is in no mans land like a Rich Franklin, it was the right career move. Yeah Lyoto and Anderson would never fight, crazy how Lyoto has one semi boring fight and people give him hell for it. Anderson has had numerous awful performances, but in this sport you are only as good as your last fight in most MMA fans eyes.Raw Dawgin' it;1396170 wrote:Machida is back tracking now, saying he wants another fight before facing Jones again. I like that he wants to win two belts but no way can he possibly defend them both if that were to happen, Dana couldn't allow that, he would have to forfeit one. He has his hands full with Pettis though, what a great fight that is.Zoltan;1396284 wrote:Aldo will now get a title shot at 155 with a win over Pettis.

1 semi boring fight? He won his first 5 fights in the ufc but no one took notice until he KO'd Silva. (bolded) That's why he wants to delay fighting him, not to stay sharp. You really think this guy isn't in top form year round? I think he knows if he loses again to Jones he's done at 205 until Jones leaves the division.robj55;1396335 wrote:He wants another fight to stay sharp, I see no harm in that. I'll take Stann
Struve (another crazy comeback after being hit early)
Sanchez (who missed weight)
Lombard (I take this only because I don't want another Henderson machida)
Kim
Sanchez better bring it tonight since he missed weight. Hopefuly he doesn't lose and get cut because he is almost always exciting and he was moving back down a weight class.

Mark Hunt shattered Struve's jaw after a great 3 rounds. The main event was insane!

Sucks Struve got ko'd but if you stand there long enough, Hunt will break your jaw.
