should've been unanimous decision. Machidas fighting style isn't very entertaining however

WOW! Great fight. Glad I got to witness UFC history with that being the first-ever women's fight.

We were yelling the same thing at Bdubs.

Thought it was sloppy. Rousey's stand up is terrible, not like it matters considering how poor the women's division is. Cyborg would pick her apart with ease.

It's sad for me when the Rousey fight was more exciting than the Hendo/Machida fight. I thought for sure it would end early. As for the ladies' MMA I'm only truly interested in Rousey/Cyborg. I just can't get that into it.

Oh and I thought the Lawler/Koscheck fight was stopped too early.

I love Hendo, but what an awful style match up for him. I thought he won rounds 2 and 3 but it was way too close with the lack of action. All machida did was counter and run imo.

I don't mind womens MMA, but I don't want to see a woman get KO'd. Was kinda hoping Rousey would lose just to see what would've happened to womens mma in the UFC.

Also - stoked Lawler won. It was probably a short stoppage but fuck koscheck.

I don't see it making a big splash anyways. They better hope they have a feeder system for the women.

Did you see the buzz and media last nights event got? Rousey is a star, whether people want to believe that or not. This is big for MMA as a whole, not just womens mma.

I just don't see it being a big lasting thing. I could be wrong and if I am I will eat crow. You're more well versed in MMA so you can answer a question for me. Can you name 10 women fighters that people will be excited about watching on a ppv?

Not 10, but I can't name 10 flyweights or bantamweight male fighters that people would wanna watch on PPV either. Give it time to develop, maybe Gina Carano comes out of retirement.

Machida No. 1 contender. Maybe if he uses the "run and frustrate" technique against Jones he'll be champ again.

I'd like to see Lyoto fight again before getting a title shot. That wasn't a dominant performance by any means although he got a win over a legend. I'd like to see him fight the winner of Gus and Mousasi.

Early April. I think it doesn't matter anyway, because I had the feeling that if Jones and Anderson win their next fights that Dana is going to set up a superfight, he has talked about it a lot recently. Wouldn't surprise me to see either a GSP/Silva or Jones/Silva fight towards the end of the year.

Anyone else totally disappointed with the Schaub fight? No one wants to watch HW lay and pray.

Yeah, he knew his job was on the line and Lavar is not the guy to test your chin against when you've been knocked out in your last 2 fights. I would have bet for sure that that fight was going to end in knockout, but you never know. The Grice and Bermudez fight was insane, one of the best I've seen in a long time.
