I would favor Cain, Brock, JDS, and Carwin against him.

He would no doubt be game against anyone but I don't agree with whoever said he would demolish them. He's been knocked out by Chuck and Shogun who were both LHW's, although that was a long time ago.

Overeem is much, much larger now.

How would Carwin beat him if I may ask?

I like Overeem. He's more of a "real deal" than Fedor has been in the last 2+ years.

I don't see Carwin beating him. But I do think that it would make good fights if you throw JDS or Cain in with Overeem. I like Lesnar, but I do not think he stands a chance against Overeem.

Larger with the same chin, the guy is a monster and a great striker but he wouldn't demolish everyone. I'll watch him fight every time though no doubt lol

When I read "How would Carwin beat him" the first thing I thought of was:

By punching him in the face

How else does Carwin beat people?

What I meant is that I believe Overeem to be a far superior striker and I've got a better ground game than Carwin so...

He is definitely an elite level striker, you don't win the K1 tournament if you're not thats for sure.

Just looked at Carwin's wikipedia, why are the fights so damned inaccurate. It has him as fighting Couture, Hendo, Jon Jones, and Rampage Jackson. None of which he actually fought according to their respective wikipedia pages.

Well usually they're all over that sort of shit. Especially with higher profile pages like that.

This episode of TUF was a lot better, the last one the Mexican guy was just straight up terrible, wasn't even trying to land damaging punches at all. Though I thought Ryan in this fight should have let his hands fly a bit more, too many single jabs without a follow up combination IMO though it was a good fight.

I keep liking Dos Santos more and more.

http://www.fiveknuckles.com/mma-news/Nick-Diaz-contemplating-retirement-from-MMA,-looking-to-focus-on-boxing.html

Nick Diaz considering retiring from MMA to box? What are your thoughts on this? I would love to see an MMA guy cross over and do a boxing match since James Toney tried his hand at MMA, this would create a huge buzz from the MMA and boxing worlds alike. I can't see Nick not fighting MMA again as I see this as more of a way to generate more buzz about himself and get bigger paydays. Not sure how well he would do against a guy like Vargas.

Royce Gracie is also reportedly on that card, as well as Anderson Silva vs. Okami II. Would be cool if they could find a way to get both Jose Aldo and Machida both on that card as well.

Big Nog wants to fight on the card.

No way in hell do I want to see Royce fight. He'll get his ass kicked again.

I see this as more of a tribute to a legend more than anything, they will feed him a can who he can take down and choke out.

What type of card do you want to see in Brazil? If the fights have been made, I've listed them:

Anderson Silva vs. Yushin Okami II (would rather see Silva have a superfight here - GSP or Jon Jones; wish it could've been a rematch with Sonnen, or even a fight with a top of Light Heavyweight)
Jose Aldo vs. Chad Mendes
Shogun Rua vs. Forrest Griffin
Royce Gracie vs. Kazushi Sakuraba III
Wanderlei Silva vs. Vitor Belfort II

If some of these didn't work out, you could have Antonio Nogueira vs. Brendan Schaub, or Lyoto Machida vs. Phil Davis

"Captain America" Randy Couture to retire win, lose, or draw after Machida fight:
http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news;_ylt=AmkB5aEcKL7SgqYEs1tWOXI5nYcB?slug=dm-meltzer_couture_retiring_after_ufc_129

Win, lose, or draw April 30th it will be sad to see him go. My fav fighter of all time, though I know its probably time for him to hang it up, he isn't your typical 48 year old that is for sure. Dude fought the best of the best almost every fight. 2 reigns as champ in 2 different classes in the UFC, 3x at hvy, 2x at 205. Will be missed in the cage!

Much respect to Randy, a legend in every regard. He was always game in every fight and never ducked anyone no matter who or what weight. Hopefully the UFC can keep him around as an advisor or something.
