Randy's chin worries me a ton in this fight, I think he gets KO'd at some point even if he finds a way to pin Machida to the cage or take him down. At some point he is going to take a kick or punch that puts him in dreamland, and this is from a huge Randy fan!

Nog dang near KO'd him a few times and his last couple fights he has done a wonderful job not getting hit by Vera and Toney.

He rocked Rampage twice in that fight, once at the end of the second round and rocked him in the third round then proceeded to get the take down and get top mount. If he hadn't gone for that arm bar and just ground and pounded he would have forced the ref to stop the fight. Rampage also has one of the best chins, Randy will not be able to take the shots that Rampage ate. As for those who are picking Randy, have you seen what Machida has done to wrestlers? People are saying that he can close the distance against Machida, how without eating a straight left or a crushing knee to the ribs? Machida is lightning fast and has unbelievable footwork due to his Karate stance. He also has an 84% take down defense ratio, he's damn near impossible to get ahold of and get down. Even is Randy somehow gets ahold of him and puts him against the cage what most people don't realize is that Machida has trained in sumo wrestling his whole life, he will trip Randy to the ground just like he did Tito, Sokoudju and Rampage. I'm sorry but I see no way Randy wins this fight although he will no doubtedly have a game plan and try and make it interesting.

Nick is my favorite fighter as well, this could be fight of the year in the making! Although I know you meant PAUL Daley

First bold is possible but I think Randy could eat one or two straight lefts without getting rocked too bad so if he can grab a hold of Machida relatively quickly I think he could be okay.robj55;733608 wrote:He rocked Rampage twice in that fight, once at the end of the second round and rocked him in the third round then proceeded to get the take down and get top mount. The bolded I disagree with. Randy is a better wrestler than those three guys you mentioned put together.
Either way, Randy is smart enough to make this a chess match rather than a brawl. Unless of course Randy takes Machida down in which case he'll want a brawl.
Again, I'd still say Machida is likely to win but I don't see it as impossible for Randy to.

I just don't see how he closes the distance without taking substantial punishment, I hope to see a good fight I just don't see it.

Be one of Diaz's tougher fights but he's on a some kind of roll. I think Diaz wins though on the ground in some form or another.

I think that Daley is extremely dangerous on the feet but I see Diaz standing toe to toe with him and making him throw/eat punches until he gasses. Daley's cardio has always been suspect and Diaz could fight 10 rounds if needed probably. I see it ending in the 3rd or 4th round by tko for Diaz. His boxing is much better than people realize.

Thats probably more likely than my prediction of TKO, I think he will gas Daley and from their finish it how he wants. Clinch take down and submission is likely. Keith Jardine is filling in for Mike Kyle against Mousasi, not an easy fight to take on 2 weeks notice lol

Mousasi will also sub Jardine and I think quick. Mousasi stands with Jardine that would be stupid he is worlds better on the ground over Jardine.

Sounds like BJ Penn is pulling out of UFC 132 due to injury.

Carlos Condit was lobbying for a fight with Penn at 132, instead he gets Dong Hyun Kim.

What are everyone's picks for the Strikeforce: Diaz vs Daley card tomorrow night?
Aoki over Beerbohm via submission
Mousasi over Jardine via tko
Milendez over Kawajiri via decision

I was ok with the stoppage and Mousasi should have won.
