He was done, those body shots killed him and that right hook to the temple put him out on hisfeet, when he pushed Diaz off he couldn't stand. Was that the best round off MMA you guys have ever seen or what? Unbelievable. Diaz is amazing, no one else could eat those Daley shots like that.

That right hand Diaz threw was precise & caught Daley on the temple. I would love to see GSP & Diaz fight again.

GSP is a horrible match up for him as his only chance would be to pull off a sub from the bottom. The tough wrestlers of the UFC would give Diaz big trouble I think.

If he can get it to the ground, yes.

I have a feeling it'll be like watching GSP/Kos II

It could look like that but Shields knows for a fact he won't outstrike GSP, he will be relentless with take downs where as Koscheck was fine with standing for 5 rounds in hope of catching GSP. People who haven't seen much of Shields and don't give him much of a chance should watch some of his fights. The guy hasn't lost in almost 7 years and is VERY capable of submitting GSP.

I too think Shields has a shot but I also thought Alves had a chance and that didn't end well for me lol.

This fight interests me. I wish Fedor would be smart and come down to 205 for the rest of his career but obviously no one has mentioned it to him.

I am more surprised Hendo wants the fight at HWT.

Gsp v shields is very intriguing and if it hits the ground shields has a great shot.

Gsp v Diaz is not that close I don't think. Gsp is too fast strong and too good of a wrestler for Diaz.

Diaz beats most 170s in the ufc but the wrestlers would beat him.

I don't think shields will win or get the fight to the matt. GSP has much better stand up and probably wants no part of shields submission game.

Anyone else interested in seeing fights between the two organizations? Obviously some have mentioned GSP/Diaz, but what about Overeem/Velasquez? Overeem/Lesnar? A. Silva/King Mo? Melendez/Penn? Melendez/Edgar?

Does Shields have a great submission game off his back? I see GSP crushing him in the stand up and then taking him down whenever he wants.

Shields chance to submit him is a chance, but a very, very low one. He could not do much to Kampman, could not submit hendo when he was totally gassed, and had 5 rounds to lay on top of mayhem. GSP will be able to get up if he gets taken down I think. Of course he has a chance, but its a smaller one than Kos had IMO.

I want to see Overeem against any ufc heavy weight. Diaz and mayhem i'd like to see back too. Also Melendez, Jacare, Robbie Lawler, tim kennedy, Tyron Woodly and Gina Carano,

I think Overeem demolishes any UFC heavyweight to be honest. He's got the best striking (K1 Grandprix champ) and also has a good submission game. Plus he's huge.

I wouldn't go that far. There are a lot of guys in the division bigger than him too such as, lesnar, carwin, mir and dos santos.
