Hopson was indeed Bowsher, and I got to interview him at the start of the season. He was at a Bowsher game we were covering. Of course, it didnt make the air, but fun anyway!

Isn't he coaching somewhere locally? I know Guerrero & Diebler have the varsity, is he helping out there?

Assistant at BGSU. He has made it to a few Bowsher games when BGSU isnt on the road or playing a home game. Ive seen him at 2 of the 4 we have covered.

Diebs and Guerrero are fun to watch on the sideline. Gil Guerrero is also at Start. We just covered the two of them coach against each other.

Yeah, its funny when Keith is told to sit down (only head coaches can stand while clock is running). He has such a hard time lol.

It was back in the day of Chuck Webb. He was always high on him and he was an amazing RB from seeing him play a couple of times. Knee injuries derailed him at Tennessee.

Our school at the time was threatening to stop sports if the levy didnt pass and we had joked about me moving up there if they were canned.

I remember Webb, especially when he called the MSU coaches to tell them that they should be at his presser when he was announcing between them and Tennessee--man were they pissed!!! lol

Oh that would piss me off too. I bet they thought he was a sure bet. I know bill had worked I think at the MSU camps...but unsure if that was before, during, or after Webb was there.
